Staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast has many options and kept up well, location is perfect for hiking and other activities in the area, parking was very easy, the room was a bit tight on space but all the other positive things made this not a problem.

We had a great time at Hotel Ermitage staff was very friendly and accommodating it was very close to hiking and rooms very clean. Breakfast was excellent as well. Hot tub was not very hot when we’re there so did not use it otherwise great location and experience.

Excellent hotel. Great staff, nice breakfast. Nice room. A bit of a walk from town but a scenic walk it is. Close to lift up the mountain to a lake and hiking.

We wish we could have spent more than one night because it was situated in a beautiful area with lots to explore. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was good, the room very nicely appointed and comfortable.

This was a lovely hotel in Kandersteg. This is located beside the gondola station and the walking path for the hike to lake. There was a nice restaurant at the hotel that we had a great dinner at and the breakfast was very enjoyable. My family really enjoyed staying here and we would come back again!

Excellent Staff

They were accommodating for our very late check-in. Rooms are big. Excellent help from the staff able to help us find jumper cables when our car did not start.

It is an amazing place. Beautiful and accessible to beautiful mountains by cable car. Staffs were very good and friendly. Breakfast was very good. Overall experience was 5 stars. We want to visit there again and again.

Located just right next to the mountain lift to Oeschinen-lake. Wonderful area for hiking. Very friendly staff, good restaurant. Breakfast was very good and rich, however, not so many warm food.Very nice room. It was a bit surprising that the wellness is not included in the room price, but in any case it was at reasonable price and the hot pot is fantastic. The room price was also reasonable, so overall I can only recommend this hotel.

Great location. Easy to find. Across the street from attraction. We can hear the cow bells! And the river running. The staff was amazing. The breakfast and dinner were very yummy. I would definitely come back! Highly recommend it!

We loved this hotel. The front desk staff were so kind and helpful - they guided us to great hikes and wonderful massages. We are on our honeymoon and they decorated the room special for us as a surprise - rose petals and champagne - so kind and thoughtful! The hotel is at a convenient location across the street from the gondola lift to Oeschinensee, so it can get a little busy during the day - great for people watching. Overall a very quiet and cozy location; we had a great view of the mountain and waterfalls from our balcony. Also, the hotel had the cutest alpine rabbits that reside on the property!

It was very nice experience for us . The hotel was next to the cable car station with amazing view It was hidden gems Before going Switzerland we did home work where to go but there was a little mention of Oeschinen Lake where you can do hiking sight seeing Barbecue swimming many activities etc in Summer . It was arranged so convenient for Elderly and pregnant Woke up with snowcapped mountains and waterfalls in front of your eyes was amazing Staffs are very friendly Rooms were modern and very clean with Alpine features Parking is free But no lifts to top floor but they will take the luggage for you About 1 hour north to Jungfrau and Interlaken and south to Matterhorn Initially we felt quite remote but we fell in love after staying there We requested early breakfast before scheduled time due to our trip and they let us in . That was very kind We highly recommend
