I had a wonderful 4 nights at the Serindip. The staff were amazing abd special thanks to chef Ranga for his help and knowledge while I was in Kandy. Will definitely return for another stay.

Good place to stay

Built like so much of Kandy on the side of a mountain, Grand Serendib Hotel offers a standard room with a great view. The room works well in terms of comfort with a pretty little balcony. We had an excellent buffet breakfast included. The staff were very friendly and polite.

We really enjoyed our stay here. From arriving, the staff on the front desk and in restaurants were on hand to help every step of the way. Room was really spacious and we loved the balcony overlooking Kandy lake. Pool was small, but good to dip into! Although it was quite chilly. Really great location too. Only thing I would say is housekeeping was quite late in the day!

Lovely hotel set in the hills above the lake, with great views of the surrounding peaks, very comfortable room with a great balcony. There's a rooftop bar and restaurant which was lovely, plus a ground floor bar, restaurant and infinity pool. Breakfast was delicious with great choices and good coffee! The staff were attentive and pleasant.

The hotel and staff were so lovely. The location was great just 10 minutes from the railway station. The food was so delicious and the ambience in the roof top bar was great. Would definitely recommend this hotel for your stay in kandy.

The suite was fantastic will an incredible view. Comfortable bed, mattress not too soft. Excellent complimentary tea selection! Room service was delicious as was breakfast. The lady on the front desk was very sweet & helpful.
