"Had one night after business trip and wanted to stay in a historic hotel. Rooms were minimalist style, yet elegant and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful with suggestions on dining. We self-parked in the building. The overnight parking fee was very reasonable. The nearby Power and Light District had a major event going on and was closed off to the general public. We ended up eating dinner at the hotel’s Italian Kitchen. Glad we did- excellent food. Overall, had a great stay at Hotel Phillips."
"I had a stink bug I killed the first night, and the 2 night I was there. I hated the people above us as it sounded like all the did was walk back and forth. Also don't like to hear a lot of yelling or cussing, and that was all one guy could do. Thank goodness that last part was the day we checked out. From now on I ask for a 3rd floor room and in the front, or I won't be back. I was on the pool side and way to noisy, I stayed there about a yr ago and the front side and 3rd floor was amazing over there."
