We stayed in this motel several times before..Its clean,quiet,staff is polite. On one occasion my husband had a medical emergency and the staff was very helpful in a stressful situation.

Location is central to most attractions in KC metro area, easy highway access, safe area, plenty of parking. Parking lots could be cleaned more often, Staff are not accommodating, pool is never opened, And luggage carts are only kept in the lobby. Business Center has nothing in it but a desk. Pictures show a computer (doesn’t work), printer (kept behind the front desk and told to email the staff and they will print what is needed.)

It was okay- expensive for the quality, not super clean, outdated- looked more like a dorm room than a hotel, but the staff was friendly and the bed was comfortable. It was 10 min from downtown.

From the outside i was questioning whether we wanted to stay as it looked very rundown. The lobby and hallway were better and the room was very clean. The bathtub had a huge soft spot and was very slippery.

This place was okay. The room was pretty clean, but had a horrible smell. We were not sure if it was chemical, or mildew from the AC. The pool is out of service. The room was very quiet and the cable TV worked. Breakfast was pretty standard and good, waffles cereal, yogurt, plenty of drink options. They required a deposit upon staying, which seemed quite high for the quality of the room.

The hotel is passable for a short stay, with decent rooms, but many amenities didn’t work as expected. Unfortunately, the breakfast was poor and the hallways were noticeably dirty, which took away from the overall experience.

Check-in was easy. A limited hot breakfast served. The layout of rooms is confusing, the security on the external doors was not working, and the room refridgerator was broken. Please note, there is no elevator.

Hotel looked dated on the outside, landscaping needs help, hallway smelled like weed. But the room was updated, modern, very clean, comfortable bed. Shower was way too hot, so that could use some adjusting (even after messing with it for 10 minutes). Was a comfortable place to spend the night.

Very nice gentleman at check in, made the process fast and easy. The lady in the breakfast area was also very nice. Room 218. Inspection found no insects in room, and no bad odor. Increased thermostat and it got warm quickly. Made coffee and used blow dryer, all ok. The shower does not work. Water comes gushing out the bathtub spigot and it is very very hot. It will not drain sufficiently and I burned my feet before I could get out. Water that comes out of shower, however, is cold. Could not adjust it to medium. Water sprays out of the tub spigot sideways and sprays on the floor. The shower curtain will not cover the area to keep the water in the tub.. The shower curtain has something brown and black on it, as does the shower wall, I did not touch it. View outour window is a folded mattress. I hope there are no plans for re-use. Breakfast was ok.

The staff are excellent at the desk. Nice in the room…I was very surprised at how poorly kept it was. The blinds were broken, light bulbs missing, copious amounts of literal trash under the bed, as well as stains on the sheets. I can say with absolute certainty I’ll NEVER book a room there again. And honestly might just over look Baymont by Wyndham all together. It’s not the first one I’ve been mortified by, unfortunately.

Bad service and bad rooms

I was treated rudely. Booked the room a week out. When we checked in and got to the room the room was not clean, the bed wasnt made. When I had went to inform the front desk she had seemed annoyed. She got us a different room and in this one the rooms AC wasnt working. I had told her again and she moved us to a different room with the same attitude. The breakfast was decent. I honestly dont see myself coming back for another stay.

Staff was not very welcoming and acted indifferent to a problem which even though it wasnt their fault, was curt. Housekeeping could have washed the muddy dog footprints off the bathroom door but didn't. The air conditioner sounded like there was paper stuck in it. Upon inspection, the filter was so plugged with dirt no air could get through, causing the filter to rattle in the holder. It was quiet after we cleaned it. Bathroom fan vents were dirty too. They must have put in a new smoke detector but left the hole in the ceiling from the old unit.

Oh the handprints on the headboard

Well, when we first walked in I noticed the glare from the sun shines on the headboard where I could easily see hand prints on the headboard as to which weren’t cleaned off from a previous sexual session. Then the blinds had issues, yet we made it work without needing to report the issue. Once in the shower the handle fell right off. Water flower everywhere in the bathroom. Since I use a wheelchair made it slippery for me to maneuver afterwards in my chair. It was a roll in shower but no chair to use. There should be a pull down bench attached to the wall. Glad I brought my own. There was no blow dryer and the front desk had none to lend out. The first night there was no tv. The cable was out. There was only 3 pillows on the king size bed and the blanket was as light as my shower curtain at home. Had to ask for another pillow and blanket. I could have saved over $100 staying in a hotel 6 instead, and probably would have had less issues. On a positive note. We liked the Mexican restaurant right next door. Went and had some margaritas in order to make our stay more manageable.

Do not waste your time and money

I was in town for a dog show with my two dogs. I had booked online as rates were reasonable with no pet fees. Upon checkin, I was told there was $20/dog per night that would be added to the bill, but she couldn't tell me what the bill would be. The property is old and rundown. My first room did not have heat. Every afternoon when I returned to my room, my key was deactivated and I had to go to the front desk lugging all my things. There was supposed to be a full continental breakfast, however the waffle maker wouldn't cook the batter fully, and the eggs/sausage container was cold every morning. Milk was warm. My room had wires hanging from the ceiling where the smoke alarm should be and the microwave handle was missing. Trash/glass littered the parking lot and grassy areas where I pottied my dogs. The last night of my stay, "guests" checked in around midnight and began pounding on room doors and yelling loudly. There were burnouts going on outside. The next morning, I found the exterior door propped open with a rock and a person who looked homeless sleeping in the lounge area.

Unable to lock room door. Looked like the door had been kicked in and the door jamb was in pieces. Strike plate screwed in too low so the deadbolt couldnt extend, but likely wouldn't have helped much. Breakfast wasn't good; selection or quality. Sign posted saying you couldnt take food back to your room, and 'attendant' stood in the room, watching constantly. He used the same rag to wipe the floor and then immediately a table. Room itself looked clean enough; good amount of water stains on the ceiling.
