"Our stay at the beautiful Origin in KC was very nice. We were welcomed and checked in quickly and the front desk attendants not only knew their stuff but were friendly as well. We had an issue with the parking that they resolved completely and quickly. When we headed to our room, we found an extra safety measure involving needing to swipe our key card to get the elevator to go to our floor. Very nice! When we arrived at our room we were pleased to find a clean, Beautiful and streamlined room with a lovely view of the river through a huge window. Happily, the drapes were lovely and did not gap (a pet peeve of mine.). When we headed out for dinner, the front desk wrote a list of nearby BBQ joints for us. The Wolfpack had brisket that melts in your mouth, Beef burnt ends that were tender and delicious and sides including huge onion rings, yummy BBQ beans and pasta salad. Full to the max, we returned to the hotel to watch some TV but also to admire the pink and orange of the sunset. The only complaint was the bed was too soft. A recent surgery has left me with the need for a firmer sleeping surface and their ultra plush bed did not work for me. But I worked it out and have to say it is a lovely hotel that I highly recommend for those of you who enjoy a soft, cushy sleep."

"We were only there one night and left very early the next morning, but the little loveseat in the room was cute and comfortable to lounge on while awake. The bed was super comfy and I slept like a baby."

"The decor was hodgepodge the room was clean enough but the bathroom had the smell of a sewer I believe from the sink. The shower was good the provided toiletries were adequate. But the smell in the bathroom was horrible. Some of the staff didn’t have the time of day others were friendly"
