Hotel is in a great location near the Country Club Plaza and all it offers. The only negative is that it could use a facelift, carpet, paint and other updates. Nevertheless, front desk, bar in lounge and restaurants are all quite good. I would definitely stay there again.

Staff were very helpful. Anytime I had a question they responded promptly and respectfully. The Room was very clean. Also I love that you can catch the street car(free of charge)right out front. If you are looking for a fancy or modern upscale hotel, this won't meet that criteria. If those things don't matter this is a great hotel to stay.

Rooms were okay - beds are very springy. Unpleasant smell in the hallway when getting off the elevator (smells like urine and/or mildew). our room had a very annoying sound coming out of the A/C unit that lasted the entire night. Hotel staff compensated us for the parking fee as a goodwill gesture. Overall, not a bad place to stay and staff were friendly.

We didn’t get the room we were paying for when we checked in. We also signed up for free breakfast and didn’t get that either. The staff was helpful to get our room changed, but the breakfasts were on us. No offense Expedia but you misrepresented what we were getting when we paid up front. Our stay ended up being good because of the helpful staff.

One of my favorite hotels I've ever stayed at. Both times I've traveled through KC I chose this one because the staff, hotel, cleanliness, location, is nothing short of excellent. For the price it's unbelievable. Dedicated parking garage so don't have to worry much about car getting broken into. & not to mention, 8 minutes away from Joe's KC BBQ which is a MUST-DO while in KC.
