We were in town for a long weekend for the Kansas City Chiefs game. The staff was helpful & was able to check in a little early. They did have a nice breakfast daily. Plenty of parking. No complaints. The room was clean.

The rooms were very clean. The staff was very helpful. The ceiling could have used repair. Even with the AC on, the room always felt very humid. For my liking, the beds were very hard.

The staff at the front desk (both the night we checked in, as well as a different guy in the morning) were excellent—really responsive and gave above & beyond customer service. Room was good. Wish the “pantry” and morning breakfast had a little more variety. Good coffee and helpful breakfast staff.

Room was one of the cleanest we have ever stayed in. The breakfast was exceptional because the eggs and sausage tasted good. They had very good orange juice and apple juice. Everything at breakfast was very clean Hot coffee with all sorts of creamers.

The room was heavily scented--like old lady perfume and the "gym" was one treadmill and a non-functioning elliptical machine. The gym was also very warm and the a/c didn't put too much air to cool it off. Otherwise, the room was clean and comfortable

We stayed with our puppy and everything was clean and room location was perfect for those frequent trips outside (walk down past two rooms and straight out the doors). Only complaint was the deodorizer used for cleaning was a bit heavy smell-wise. It definitely works, though.

Overall Experience: Average Overall, our stay was acceptable. My wife is a fan of La Quinta because of its pet-friendly policy, which is important to us since we frequently travel with our two dogs. However, I’ve been somewhat disappointed with the room quality during our last couple of stays at this hotel chain. During this stay, we stayed in Room 225, which was conveniently located near the entrance, making it easy to take our dogs in and out. Unfortunately, this location also meant more noise from guests entering and leaving the building. My biggest concern, however, was the strong smell of cleaning chemicals in the room. We experienced a similar issue during our previous stay at another La Quinta property. The odor was quite noticeable and affected our overall comfort. I hope the hotel management will take this feedback seriously and look into the cleaning products being used, as well as possible ways to reduce lingering chemical odors in guest rooms. We appreciate La Quinta’s pet-friendly accommodations, but improving room quality and addressing these concerns would make future stays much more enjoyable.

The stay was fine, the room was very spacious, and was clean for the most part, though the remote was sticky and that grossed me out. The bathroom door did not latch. When trying to open the fridge door the whole fridge moved, and not just a little bit.
