Road trip

This is a great hotel to stay in on or road trip to Italy The room was super comfy and I had a great sleep. The room and bathroom were spotless We booked a table at the restaurant, just as well as it was fully booked. Service and food were excellent. I will definitely be back as we do this trip 2/3 times a year and I’m always on the lookout for a good overnight stay.

Extremely helpful from check in, at the restaurant and at breakfast. Food was well prepared and very tasty. Had a great nights sleep and the room was very clean and comfortable. Will definitely be back as it’s on route when we are travelling to Italy.

We had a long day driving from the Côte d’Azur toward Denmark. Our initial plan was to go through Alsace, but the A7 was so congested that we decided to head toward Switzerland after Valence. When we reached Geneva, we still had enough energy to drive a bit farther, even though it was a risk, as there are far more hotels around Geneva. Luckily, we found this gem on our way. What I would like to highlight most is the quality of the mattress and the bedding. It is so important to have a proper rest after a long day on the road. The room was so impeccably clean that I could easily walk barefoot, just like at home. I also really appreciate the availability of family rooms. Even though it seems like common sense, in reality a family of two adults and two children often has to book two separate rooms. Luckily, there are hotel owners who make a difference. Last but not least, the service was exceptional. The receptionist, Tanja, helped me over the phone with the booking and even waited for us until very late in the evening.

We loved everything! The room was nicely decorated, clean and quiet. The staff was great as was the breakfast. We ate diner there also and it was delicious. It was very reasonably priced and about one hour drive from the Zurich airport.

HOTEL: Friendly, efficient check-in. Lovely room and good breakfast. Would recommend and stay there again. RESTAURANT Booked a table for dinner. Waited long to order drinks and had to ask for the menue card. Sevice somewhat slow but otherwise lovely restaurant(s)

One night stay on our way to Italy.

The room was lovely, bed excellent and staff very welcoming. But the room was facing the main road and, even given ear plugs, we got to sleep at 01.30am. The room was very warm so we had to leave the window open, as there was no fan or air conditioning. If you want to stay you must have a rear facing bedroom. This is our second stay and we had the same problem last time. Once bitten, twice shy.

Der Aufenthalt war sehr schön, das Zimmer war sauber und hatte alles, was ich benötigte. Die Lage ist zugleich wunderschön, wie beschwerlich. Mitten im Zentrum und zwischen Fußgängerzone und Fluss gelegen. Der Nachteil daran ist, dass man mit dem Auto nicht ganz ranfahren kann und sich umliegend in ein Parkhaus einmieten muss. Mit viel Gepäck ist es dann doch umständlich. Ansonsten kann ich das Hotel nur empfehlen. Das Frühstück war super und mit einer tollen Bedienung. Die Rezeption immer hilfsbereit und freundlich.

Prima voor een overnachting richting zuiden/noorden. Uiterst vriendlijk en behulpzaam personeel. Kamer is karig maar ruim voldoende. Waterkoker of koffie op de kamer is eigenlijk een must. Wel koffie en thee op de gang overigens. Restaurant is uitstekend! Ontbijt is ook prima maar wel wat aan de prijzige kant.
