Everything was adequate for a stay near the train station. There was an issue with their computers that didn't allow them to program the room key, so the front desk would have to run up and open our door each time, which he did quite quickly. Room was a decent size and the air conditioning worked which was great for the hot day that we stayed there. Super close to the train station (5 minutes walk), we were able to catch our train easily.

It was a pleasure staying in this friendly hotel for a few days! A quick walk from the main railway station, and a convenient location for visiting the main sights of the city. There is a large grocery store also in the area. Perfect for my needs, I would definitely stay there again!

Very convenient hotel

Good hotel very close to railway station and convenient for everything. The rooms overlook the station but there is absolutely no noise from the railway. Excellent air conditioning which was very welcome in the heat

The room was small, but it was next to central station which was very convenient. I appreciated the fact that a room situated so close to the train was very quiet. The shower also had great water pressure

Does the trick!

Right at the train station, but you cannot hear the trains at all, which was a pleasant surprise. Small rooms, but good for a quick overnight or two. Standard breakfast, but no complaints.

This is a very basic property with small rooms. However, that is all we needed for this part of our travels. It was clean, the staff were really good, and it was a great option for an economical stay when you're not spending a lot of time in the room. We really liked that it was a short walk to the train station.

The ibis at the Hauptbahnhof Karlsruhe was terrific in terms of location, value, staff, and comfort - except for one thing. Contrary to downstairs signage there was no air conditioning. This was hot October weather. Therefore very stuffy and hot and uncomfortable. The room is silent with windows closed; way too loud with windows open.
