We always went to the Cycle Hotel for breakfast, where you can get great pastries, coffee, and hot chocolate. The best okonomiyaki we ever had was in Onomichi at Cafe Murata, located a couple of arcades away. It's easy to take a cable car up the mountain and see the Onomichi City Museum of Art. The working harbor makes it worthwile to order a room on the harbor side. "

About a ten minutes walk from the train station and fifteen minutes to the historical district. Food is nearby with two convenience stores across the street."
