"A small inn ran by an old couple; I didn't see much of the husband, he seemed to be busy doing various tasks around the property. The wife was a kind lady, who will help you easily if you need it, she also has a decent grasp of English so you shouldn't need much google translate, especially if you know a bit if Japanese yourself. "Great transport links nearby. Hotel and room was pretty grimy and run down, but it suited for a couple of nights. Smallest room I’ve ever stayed in - but I’m stocky and 6ft. Overall passable. Also ended up with a smoking room which I didn’t ask for, so it was a bit smelly at first. "
