As the hotel is located equidistant from Agios Nikolaos and Elounda you would be better with a car, although at the bottom of the street there is the bus stop for both places. Nearby tavernas we tried were also very nice. "

"The hotel is absolutely amazing! The lobby has a huge bar instead of a checkin counter. You are able to sit on a comfortable couch and the staff comes to you for checkin. Service is just outstanding and the rooms are large and extremely clean. Breakfast is out of this works and the hotel has a beautiful beach. Only low score was for eco-friendliness because we have no idea about their environmental considerations, and we were regularly served plastic straws wrapped individually in more plastic, and with Crete being windy the straws and wrappers were flying littering everywhere."
"We had a great 10 days stay in the hotel. Excellent facilities and a great pool area on the top of the hill. The room was advertised as a swim-up room with a little misleading picture here in Expedia. Instead of the swim-up rooms that share a long pool on the terrace area we lived at the pool site around two buildings with approx 10 room. Actually the better choice as it was very calm, was equipped with sunbeds for e very room and additional canopies. Had a great view towards the sea and the sunset every night. You just need to beware if you expect the same room as shown in the pictures.
