"Unique experience, great for a short stay. Private onsen available to book as well as a public onsen. Provides free shuttle to train station, but location is kind of awkward if you are wanting to do shopping. Highly recommend bike rental. Great park right across the street! "

"Perfect place to stay. Its so clean, the staff is friendly, there is free shuttle by the hotel to/from Kawaguchiko station every 10 mins which takes literally 2 mins. Breakfast is included, very close to the kawaguchi lake. Highly recommended."

"Nice views of the mountain but of course weather dependent. Less than 5 min walk to the beach. Onsen was awesome. I would recommend breakfast at the hotel as there are no restaurants nearby. I would plan when and where you have dinner in Kawaguchiko. The place isn’t Tokyo and stuff opens later like 9-10 am and restaurants close at 8 or so. There is one restaurant next door and that’s all for this part of the lake shore. Other hotels have restaurants but they only serve their guests. "

"The hotel description is very misleading. The rooms are extremely small, and the double room is one tiny bed (the same size as one bed in a twin room). The decor is extremely outdated, the bathroom is tiny, and you cannot change the heating in the room by yourself meaning it is either too cold or too hot. You need to call reception to adjust the temperature. The Onsen was fine. Definitely very overpriced for what you get."

"Our stay at La Vista Fujikawaguchiko was wonderful. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. They also provide pajamas/loungewear, which were extremely comfortable and a nice extra touch. We loved having a balcony with a beautiful view of Mount Fuji, especially in the morning and at sunset. The onsen and public baths were relaxing, and we especially enjoyed the private onsens as well. The location was peaceful and quiet, with gorgeous scenery all around. I highly recommend taking advantage of the hotel shuttle service to get to and from Kawaguchiko Station, as getting Ubers was more difficult than not, especially for a larger group. The nearest FamilyMart and 7-Eleven are about a mile away, so the breakfast buffet is definitely worth adding to your stay. There was a wide variety of options, and it was a great way to start the day before heading out. The staff were warm, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our stay. Honestly, this was the best stay of all the places we visited in Japan. We would definitely stay at La Vista Fujikawaguchiko again."
