A stay at Lough Bawn house is always good for the soul. It’s a beautifully tranquil place to visit and to relax. Beautiful period house with matching decor and ambiance. Warm and comfortable to stay and read a book while looking out over the lake. Highly recommended.

Airport shuttle would help

Fabulous hotel and wedding venue. We stayed for the night of a friends wedding and it's just a beautiful hotel, perfect for a wedding as very ornate and romantic! We actually had our own wedding here,so lovely memories too! The only negative was that mobile phone and Internet coverage was practically non existent throughout the grounds of the hotel. This could be a plus for some though!

The nicest staff of any hotel I have stayed in. The bar food was excellent and the overall theme is relaxed.

No spa. Breakfast basic

The entire staff from reception to wait staff were very friendly and helpful, even printing out directions to Newgrange for us and calling to find out time for next tour. Crystal chandeliers and a lovely pub made a very nice impression. Very clean and comfortable room. We would have stayed another night, but they were booked and even contacted other hotels to check for us.

A beautiful cottage in a beautiful location and the staff were fantastic, couldn't have asked for a better stay.

From the moment we pulled up outside this stunning house it felt like a wave of calm and relaxation came over us. The drive up to it, the stunning views from the front steps, the warm welcome we received from Shira all captured the essence of this beautiful place. When we arrived there was a few hiccups with our room however Shira on reception was the most accommodation helpful receptionist I have ever come across. She looked after us so well and could not do anymore for us. All of the staff...

Really lovely property within walking distance of Ballymagarvey Village. The owners were incredibly welcoming and provided a fantastic breakfast with great gluten-free options. We accidentally left something in the room and they kindly posted it back to us, which we really appreciated. Highly recommend staying here!
