"Ane's place is absolutely stunning! The location is incredible, set in a canyon next to vineyards and orange groves providing ample privacy. You're a 5-minute drive from Avila Beach but because of the microclimate, can expect a few additional hours of sunshine and air temps 5 degrees warmer than at the beach. You're also a quick drive away from downtown SLO.The house itself is beautiful, modern, and spacious - great for a group. The kitchen has high-end appliances and is well-stocked for any cooking you might want to do. The outside spaces are idyllic with a wonderful large pool and hot tub and impeccably maintained landscaping.Ane is super communicative and a great host. The snacks and bottles of wine upon arrival were a thoughtful touch and she allowed us to check in early, which was super helpful. One thing to be aware of: the bunkhouse next door is occupied by a tenant - she is super friendly (introduced herself shortly after we checked in) and was virtually unnoticeable throughout the weekend. All-in-all, we loved our stay at this property and would come back again in a heartbeat!"

"This place is amazing!!! Warm pie and ice cream at night! Breakfast and Lattes in the morning on the rooftop overlooking the ocean for free!! Bikes for free -- we ride Bob Jones trail. Employees are incredible!! Is right acres the street from the beach. Rooms were great --we had a jucuzzi tub-- we will be back!!"

"This felt like a cabin of our own. Located in a sweet, quaint village-the room is quiet and clean. Loved that there was coffee in the lobby and cold water. We loved eating at the marketplace restaurant-good food, drinks, and snacks. Love the walkway along the water to get our steps in. I'll be back."

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a really nice time at the beach house. The beach was just a three minute walk. Everything you could possibly need was provided. Each person had a really spacious room. One thing I would have loved to see is a small sectional in the TV area. There is not only enough seating for movie watching for three people on the sofa so it made gathering there hard for our large group."

"This was a lovely stay for a small family reunion. We had 7 adults and two kids. Owners were responsive and the house is spacious with beautiful views. We enjoyed the several seating options and the jacuzzi. The kitchen was spacious and well stocked. Using the fire pit during our last evening was an awesome way to end the trip!My two suggestions to improve the experience is to add more umbrellas to the outside space since it got hot in the July heat, and to add some type of ramp (even a removable one) to make the home more accessible. We have an old dog and my poor husband had to keep carrying him up and down the porch stairs. Obviously that’s on me to do better research, but still figured I’d suggest it. Overall, it was a lovely stay and we’re grateful for the experience!"

"This was the perfect vacation house for my big family! Room for everyone and lots of areas outside to enjoy! It was very peaceful and the kids loved it! Close ( just minutes) to Avila Beach and easy freeway access. We spent a week and it went by too fast! My grandkids loved the driveway to ride bikes and scooters and since it was a gated driveway we didn’t have to worry about cars when they played. We would definitely stay again! Highly recommend!"
