"It was a special day for me and my date (a surprise for her) for my 51st birthday, and although we arrived roughly 15 minutes before checkin...our room was not close to being ready. We had to wait for a call to let us know when we could go to our room. Although the staff were amazingly nice...they offered an immediate checkin to a room that had lesser amenities and not as nice...without a discount. Again, they ladies were top notch, but I presumed maybe a complementary drink at the bar while we waited or a comped room service drink order once we checked in...and they did ask, but were told no because we were technically early. But, it was over an hour after check in time when we received the call the room was ready. Im not asking for a refund or complaining about the actual stay but, it ruined the moment persay and we felt ...outside of the front desk employees... we were not compensated even with something small...to reconcile the inconvenience. Other equally nice hotels would have offered something to show gratitude. We didn't make a scene and would go back...but I believe the customer service was lacking in that area. Thank you. "Booked wrong airport Hobby instead of Bush. Contacted within 5mins of booking after realising my error. It was close to midnight when I booked after a flight delays and missed connections. They denied the cancellation. I tried again but they did not budge. Terrible long term business vision."

"Breakfast was 25 a person for typical hotel food that should be complimentary, price is way too high for what your given. Parking is 9 dollars a day. We reserved a room for double beds but were shocked to see they were just barely larger then two twin beds. We assumed they would be two queen size beds since that's been our experience at every hotel we've stayed in, in the past. Furniture was very warn down, cabinet to fridge never closed would swing open constantly. Room was always hot even with windows shut and AC going . No microwave in the room. A very scary safety concern was we went down the stairs and the 2nd floor door was boarded up so u couldn't continue down the stairs. That's a fire safety concern."

"I was very disappointed in my stay. First off, when booking, there was two options in the photos and I chose the option photo with a walk in shower, however, the room I got had a tub/shower. The room was out dated and small. Bed was not comfortable however the pillows were. Not a quiet night as I could hear the highway noise all night. The room itself didn’t feel clean but maybe it’s just because it was out dated. Truly disappointed and will not stay here again. When I was checking out the guy was super nice, so I guess I can give an a+ for the staff. But that’s about it. Book elsewhere"

"This hotel was, without a doubt, the worst hospitality experience I have ever had. The problems began the moment I arrived at 11 PM, exhausted after a long day, only to find the entrance gate completely closed with no clear signage or instructions for late-night guests. I attempted to call the hotel for assistance, but no one answered the phone — a basic expectation that any 24-hour establishment should meet. After considerable frustration, I managed to locate an alternate gate and made my way onto the property. The troubles continued at the front desk, where staff struggled for an unreasonable amount of time to locate and assign me a room. By the time I finally reached my room, all I wanted was to rest — but that hope was quickly shattered when I discovered the air conditioning was completely non-functional. Given the late hour, this was not a minor inconvenience; it was unacceptable. I had no choice but to return to the front desk and request a different room, enduring yet another lengthy wait before I could finally settle in for the night. The final — and most egregious — incident occurred the following morning. I had requested a late checkout at 12 PM, which is a common and reasonable accommodation. Despite having a "Do Not Disturb" sign clearly displayed on my door, a staff member knocked at 11:15 AM and demanded to know whether I was staying or leaving. Even more alarming, he appeared ready to open the door without my consent. This complete disregard for guest privacy"
