    Wake up to Cedar Creek Lake. Step out to your own pool. Walk down to a double-decker dock with boat slip and kayaks ready to launch. The Putt & Paddle is a 5-bedroom lakefront home built for big groups, calm-cove swims, and slow Texas evenings around the fire. Just over an hour from Dallas. Everything you need for a long weekend, or a full week on the water.



    The Space:

    Welcome to The Putt & Paddle, a 3,062 sq ft lakefront home tucked into a quiet cove on Cedar Creek Lake.



    THE LAKE IS THE SHOW

    A private pool sits steps from the back door, heating available on request. A double-decker dock with covered slip handles boats and jet skis. Two kayaks stocked (BYO life jackets). The cove is calm and clean for swimming and paddleboarding. Cedar Creek is one of Texas's top bass fisheries.



    THE HOUSE

    Five bedrooms, four full baths, sleeps 17. One king, two queens, four bunks, sofa bed in the main living room. Two living rooms with gas fireplaces, two dining areas, quiet workspace. Fully stocked kitchen, full-size appliances, dishwasher.



    THE OUTDOOR SPACE

    Covered patio with seating, fire pit, BBQ grill, covered outdoor dining. Garage parks two, driveway three, plus room for trailers and watercraft. Gigabit Wi-Fi throughout.



    Whether you're here to fish, boat, swim, or watch the sun go down from the dock, this home was built for it.



    Guest Access:

    The home, backyard, pool, and both levels of the dock are yours.



    Self check-in via smart lock. Door code arrives the morning of check-in.



    Parking: 3 in the driveway, 2 in the garage. No street, grass, or country club parking.



    We respond to messages within 2 hours, usually faster. For anything urgent during your stay, reply in the booking app or call the number in your welcome email.



    A note on the neighborhood: Cedar Creek Country Club's tennis and pickleball courts are private to neighborhood residents and members and are not accessible to short-term guests. The clubhouse restaurant is open to the public, though existing club members get first priority and it can fill up. The golf course is available for guests of our home and tee times can be booked through golfnow.com.



    The Neighborhood:

    Cedar Creek Lake is the second-largest lake in East Texas, known for bass fishing, waterskiing, and a relaxed resort feel. The home sits in a quiet, established lakefront community on a calm cove.



    Spring and summer are the peak lake season, Memorial Day through Labor Day. Tornado and thunderstorm season runs March through June, so check the forecast and keep an eye on local alerts. Fall and winter are quieter and cooler, with great fishing year-round and pool heating available on request.



    Within reach:

    - Cedar Creek Country Club restaurant, directly across the street, open to the public (members get priority seating)

    - Multiple free public boat ramps, all within 10 minutes

    - Gun Barrel City for shopping and restaurants, 15 minutes

    - Mabank for groceries and fuel, 10 minutes

    - Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center in Athens, 35 minutes



    This is an HOA community with a strict 10 PM quiet-hours ordinance. We respect the neighbors and we ask the same of every guest.



    Getting Around:

    A car is required. You'll want it for groceries, restaurants, and the boat ramps.



    Drive times:

    - Dallas (DFW Airport): 1 hr 15 min

    - Fort Worth: 1 hr 30 min

    - Tyler: 45 min

    - Waco: 2 hr

    - Shreveport: 3 hr



    Parking at the home: 3 in the driveway, 2 in the garage. Golf carts are a fun way to get around the neighborhood and are available for rent from the home (separate agreement, valid driver's license required).



    Other Things to Note:

    NO PETS — Service animals as required by law only, with prior notice.



    COURTS OFF LIMITS — Tennis and pickleball courts nearby are private to neighborhood residents.



    POOL HEATING — $100/night, all-or-nothing, 24+ hr advance. Temperature not guaranteed.



    QUIET HOURS — 10 PM per HOA and county ordinance. $250 fee per verified noise complaint plus any HOA/county fines.



    PARKING — 3 driveway, 2 garage. No street, grass, or country club parking.



    WATER SAFETY — Life jackets not provided. BYO for kayaks or dock.



    SECURITY — Exterior cameras monitor outdoor areas only. No interior cameras. Decibel-only noise monitoring (no audio).



    WEATHER — Tornado/thunderstorm season ~March-June. Know the interior shelter spot before you need it.



    WATER LEVEL — Not guaranteed. Check online sources.
