"We loved the location of this property as it was the center spot of where our family lives. The yard was nice as we brought our pup with us. Based on the listing that the property was on the lake we were looking forward to him being able to swim, yet were told "NO" by the locals as it is a duck itch water spot. The room was spacious and clean (we stayed in the Bachelor unit), however the mattresses could be replaced. I'm not sure why rentals feel that hard beds are the way to go. If we stay...

"It was a simple but adequate and clean little cabin. Even to shared facilities were clean and not at all unpleasant until the shared composting toilet started to emit a very unpleasant smell. That is why I am leaving a one star overall rating. If its too unpleasant to sit outside, it doesnt work. "

"This is a unique stay on the world famous Cabot Trail. It is a one room cabin, like a treehouse over looking St Anns Bay. The washroom facilities are a short walk down hill the facilities. It is not for everybody. It definitely worked for us! We spent 5 nights of relaxing after the beautiful drives we took on the Cabot Trail. "Everything was excellent we had fun and enjoyed the pool. Our section was very spacious and enough room for the 4 of us. Very nice location and close drive into Sydney. Only feedback I have is there was not enough pots & pans to cook properly and adding more cooking utensils."

"Beautiful, very peaceful and well equipped property. Kayaking on the lake was fantastic, as was spending time BBQ’ing and relaxing on the deck. The only negative was that, while the master bed was great, the bed on the second bedroom was not. But, as a property at which to disconnect and decompress, it was fantastic. "
