"The hotel is conveniently located very close to bus stop, shopping lots and a restaurant. Whilst the room size is compact, it is good enough for the purpose of sleeping at night. It has a small fridge, but lacking of microwave and freezer. Hot water for shower is instantly available, no need to wait."

"We stayed at the Airport Gateway Motor Lodge for 2 separate nights. Once on our 12.05am arrival to Christchurch where Lexi was such a fantastic ball of energy when she came to pick us up from the airport, that she gave us a 2nd wind. We couldn't have asked for better. Later on in the morning, due to a few major hiccups, we had a rocky start to our holiday. I was quite upset but Jacqui was the most helpful, calming & understanding person we could have met. It was as if she was tuned into my anxiety & not once did she make me feel rushed or embarrassed. Without Jacqui I probably would have had a meltdown. Due to the service & positive vibes we received, we decided to stay the night before we went home to Australia. From now on, the Airport Gateway Motor Lodge is our first point of call whenever we go to Christchurch. Thanks Jacqui, Lexi and the other lovely staff (including your beautiful office manager puppy). xoxo"

"I had an amazing experience at this hotel and would highly recommend it to everyone. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to help, they truly made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The cleanliness of the entire property was impeccable, from the rooms to the common areas. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, which made my stay even more comfortable. One of the highlights was the excellent parking facilities, easy access, secure, and plenty of space, which is a huge plus. If you're looking for a place that combines comfort, great service, and convenience, this is the one. I strongly advise anyone visiting the area to stay here. You won’t regret it!"

"The room (including bathroom/kitchenette) and bed are tidy. The bed was comfortable with no major spring sagging issue and the sheets were very clean. Easy walking distance to shops and Hagley Park. I did not try out the dining options as I dined out, but the cafe at the lobby appeared fully stocked. I would use the accommodations at Wyndam Garden again. "
