"The House was perfect for our family. The beds were comfortable, the tvs worked well. It was super clean. Quiet neighborhood and had everything we needed to have our home away from home. We will be back again for our next visit to see family."

"Amazing host, we love New Bern it is our annual trip. It needs so updates to floors other than that it was amazing! The screened in porch and deck for morning coffee was one of our favorite parts. The pools, gym, restaurant were great and so nice! The check in and out were seamless we extended by two days we didn't want to leave it was amazing from arrival to departure."

"Weekend at New Bernies was a clean and comfortable place for our family to relax and reconnect. The location is beautiful and well worth the adventure down the bumpy dirt road to get there. The hosts supply kayaks and accessories, yard and board games, fishing gear, and comfy chairs to enjoy the view. WiFi was spoty but plenty of better entertainment options. My biggest complaint was Weekend at Bernie’s was not included in the DVD collection ! Thank you for a wonderful vacation experience, hope we are able to visit again."

"The condo was very nice, similar to the one we had earlier in the at 8114 Lakeview, except that there was a hottub in 8204 vs a mini dining room/vestabule area. The condo was very quiet, well equipped for our needs. Nice view over both parts of the pond/lake and nice view of the pond/lake over at the Windward Condos.Overall the Fairfield Harbour area is a great place to visit if you are looking for a quiet, less noisy vacation or working vacation. Only a ten to twelve minute (easy) drive to downtown New Bern is a great advantage and similar drive to the main "modern" business district on MLK Boulevard and Glenburnie roads. This area feels very much like home. I did think that the price was a bit steep initially (this time around) but the condo also fit our needs and overall was extremely comfortable and the best part is that my mother settled in at the condo straightaway. So a good deal, good stay all around. Hope to be back down there later in the year."
