"Deep Sea Resort was a great place to stay in Kitale - our family of 4 stayed here for 2 nights when visiting Mt. Elgon National Park (~1 hour away from Kitale). The rooms, dining room and pool were clean (although the rooms smelled a bit musty), the staff was super nice/polite/helpful, the breakfast was delicious (eggs, pancakes, samosa, yams, fresh fruit and coffee) and there is a restaurant for lunch/dinner as well. The bed was fantastic - best night's sleep I have had since I arrived in Kenya...

" This place has no contact on their web and no clear sign showing where it is if it is there! My lyft driver and I when to the location on the map only to make circles. We even ask and nobody seem to know anything about it. We headed back to the airport where I spend the night sitting down."

"This property is nothing like the description or photos on Expedia. When challenged at check in the properties management stated that the descriptions were those of Expedia not of their own!! This is a One Star property charging Four Star prices probably due to local demand! The rooms smelt musty and were not attractive at all. "The pillow in the hotel need changed, I can see the brown colour of the pillow, bathroom is dirty and sewer was block, when you have shower your feet is in the water. And there is no warm water."

"I primarily h add issues with the no elevator because I had yo take my luggage up three flight of stairs. I wish there was a phone yo communicate with the receptionists so I had yo go down every time I needed something. Other than that, it was clean and well kept with great breakfast options. "
