"Myla was such a wonderful hostess. She shared cucumbers from her garden with us. This place was like a home away from home. Cozy and had everything you need. We stayed here 5 nights. My dog loved trying to hunt the squirrels. And the flowers smelled amazing when you stepped outside every morning. I highly recommend staying here. "

"I have previously stayed at this location when it was operated as a bed and breakfast, this time it is only a lodging spot with complimentary drinks which was conveyed in the listing. The home is lovely and easily located in Orange, with quick access to many historical areas. While the Fenton is listed as having a bathroom, which it does, it is a tiny water closet at best. "We had a wonderful stay at Sage Cottage this weekend. The house itself was beautiful and gorgeously decorated. Great location! "

"We had a wedding at a local winery and this was the perfect venue for our group. Had a great time. The host was incredibly accommodating and was flexible with check in so we could have time to get ready. Only thing is the ladies wished there was a full length mirror for getting ready. Otherwise no complaints. "

"We loved this as a stop for our family of 6 on the way to the Outer Banks. Easy stop off the highway, much much better than multiple hotel rooms! Even though it’s close to the highway it’s also tucked away in nature, loved the big yard and the fire pit. Kids loved the game room after a long day in the car. Clean, comfortable and well stocked kitchen and bathrooms!!"

"Very clean, nicely updated rental. The beds were comfortable and the family room/kitchen in the r back of the house is a great place to relax and play games. The owners were very helpful and communicative. "
