Anniversary Week / songwriter Festival

This property was beautiful. We have stayed at many different units within the Truman Annex. This is now one of our favorites! We had everything we needed. It was very clean and everything was in great condition.

Wonderful Getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was centrally located to all the fun! Everything about the unit was awesome, well stocked with fresh linens, comfy furniture, beautiful and simple decorations, spacious, and well cleaned!My only improvement would be management communication which I’ll share a few recommendations. While there are numerous emails and the user friendly app, the information at times does not line up. For example 2 emails told me to go to office for key, then another email told me go to office for keyless entry, and the last email reminded me to go to office. When arriving on Saturday for my checkin the office is closed. However, I was thankful someone responded to the emergency line within 10 minutes. Sadly after a full day of travel and waiting in the summer heat, the rep made it seem like my issue for not reading emails, but when I read them the emails which all said come to office they did apologize for the misinformation and not sure how it happened. I was very nervous how remainder of trip stay would go with this being my first encounter, but upon arrival to my unit everything was great. I would recommend to the property management to: (1) streamlining communication to reduce the numerous emails (2 would be sufficient), (2) ensuring all information is accurate for resident within the communications, and (3) not sending the departure instructions 4 days prior to checkout, the night before is sufficient. It put a damper on the trip when realizing we’d have to leave and go back to reality, but we then remembered we still have 4 days left.Overall I would stay again and recommend to my friends/family.

WeLiked the location Because you could kind of get away from all the activity if you want a quiet time and we took advantage of the Zachary Taylor Park and beach every day... They graciously extended our checkout time since our flight was later in the day. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable I’ve slept in but we got used to it.

Made the reservation process smooth and Scott went out of his way to accommodate our late arrival.The property itself was in a great location with a 2 block walking distance to Duval and other attractions like the Hemingway House, The light House and our favorite restaurant Moondog. Upgrades done by the owners were well done and in good taste and of course we enjoyed the charming porch in the back yard every morning. That said we were very disappointed to discover that the master bedroom had a Murphy bed with a very hard mattress (after a day of travel or walking all around KW as most vacationers would do, it was hard to get a good night sleep (had our friends bring a mattress topper to help the situation). Though kitchen was pretty much equipped with all you need, it did not offer a wine opener. We had a great vacation and would consider this property again.
