  • Slovakia's High Tatras Mountain! I was at a frozen glacial lake called Štrbské pleso. It's one of the most iconic landmarks in Slovakia. It is really amazing to walk on it! And to see so many people having fun! With their friends, family and classmates. It was a beautiful early March day. I had a great winter holiday this year in Slovakia :). The views were really stunning everywhere! In my post-processing work I did edit out a construction site (or whatever it is. I never got close enough to see). So, if you visit Štrbské pleso don't be surprised it is there! And more info about Štrbské pleso: It's the 2nd-largest glacial lake on the Slovak side of the High Tatras, Maximum depth is 20 metres (66 ft). Surface elevation is 1,346 m (4,416 ft). And it's surface remains frozen for around 155 days per year!

Very nicely kept and clean “bed and breakfast” style of hotel. Lots of local charm. Had an excellent dinner of Slovakian specialties. Affordable and good quality.

Pernottamento ai margini degli Alti Tatra

Struttura in centro paese molto comoda per passeggiare e lo shopping. Accoglienza gentile veloce. Buona la colazione e il ristorante annesso non male soprattutto dopo un po’ di ore di guida. Strategica base di partenza per la visita alla zona turistica degli Alti Tatra decisamente più costosa

A must stay!

Everything about this hotel was amazing. The receptionist (possibly the owner) was very helpful and informative. She sounded like she's from Britain. There was another lady who was there and she spoke German. So if you can communicate in either Slovak, English, or German, you're pretty much set. The hotel has its own curbside parking in the front. It also has its own restaurant that features local cuisine. Inside, the hallway is decorated with winter sport memorabilia and had a very welcoming fee. Our room was very big. It was very comfortable and cozy. The wifi was not very strong but when you feel like being off the grid, it's perfect. Breakfast is available at 6 am and at the time, they served typical European items, like eggs, bacon, bread, cold cuts, cheeses, and yogurt. Many of their customers were also older German vacationers and they seemed like they felt at home there. As for Kezmarok, the town has plenty to offer for restaurants, cafes, and sights to see. It has a small town feel with a lot to offer for tourists. The evening that we were there, many of the residents were out and about taking strolls around the town and dining with family and friends. It is 20 minutes away from Tatranska Lomnica, where you take the ski lift to go to Lomnicky Stit.

A place with beautiful surroundings on the base of the high Tatra.Good connection in all directions and very quiet.In the same place you have a restaurant with a lot of choices in the menue.Breakfast is continental but very good

Recepčná bola veľmi príjemná hotel v pohode až nato že nešla wifi a na izbe číslo 110 bol strašný hluk od 23:30hod. do 3hod. čiže som sa vôbec nevyspala lebo izby nej sú odhlučnené.Nieje to nič príjemné keď mate dlhú cestu pred sebou.

Ihan kiva hotelli kaupungin keskustassa.

Ympäristö ja kaupungin sijainti huomioiden ihan kiva hotelli. Tatra-vuoriston huiput näkyivät. Palvelu hyvä, toinen vastaanoton henkilöistä puhui hyvin englantia.
