Relax and unwind at Pacific Blue - 500m to Orchid Beach

Newly completed 3 bedroom home. Accommodating between 7 to 10 guests. Ceiling fans in bedrooms and main living area. Sheets provided. Fully functional kitchen with 5 burner gas stove, toaster, 501L fridge and 425L freezer. Outdoor tucker box freezer for those that like to fish. Fish cleaning table at top of block over looking views to Waddy Point. 3 televisions, stereo and Wi-Fi. Laundry. One bathroom with toilet and shower with additional separate toilet. Outdoor entertaining area opening up onto a grassed lawn with gas BBQ. Safe to drink Fraser Island spring water. 24 hour solar/battery power with back up generator.

Orchid Beach is situated at the Northern end of Fraser Island near Waddy Point and is about a 2 hour drive up the beach from Inskip Point. The Island is only accessible by 4WD. This area is surrounded by National Parks from the Sandy Cape to Indian Head. The Orchid Beach Trading Post and Driftwood Bar is a local shop that caters for your basic needs including, milk, bread, ice, bait and petrol. Alcohol can be purchased from the licensed bar. They also serve meals from Friday to Sunday. Bookings are required. Orchid Beach is a sleepy little town perfect for a relaxing get away where you can enjoy fishing, 4WD driving, and swimming in the natural Lagoons that form down at Waddy Point.

Easy walk to beach at a leisurely pace takes around 15 minutes from the home. To drive down to Waddy Point to set up and relax for the day is about a 4 kilometer drive taking about 10 minutes.

Amazing views with a homely feel

This is our 3rd time booking taras accommodation at orchid beach and every stay has been incredible, the views are amazing, the house comes with everything you need to have a comfortable stay and the cleanliness of the house and the outside lawns/patio/bbq are superb

Clean property, nice beds, quiet and comfortable stay, only recommendation would be a hooded bbq and it could be in pergola area undercover completely as sprinkler system and rainy weather does makes bbq area very wet.

Perfect getaway!!

Tara's property was just beautiful. The check in process was easy and her and her husband couldn't help us enough over our stay. The views was spectacular and suited our large group perfectly.

I would say this is property is slightly above average. There are better properties with better views, but it is still good. The house was very warm while some others were quite cold. The access into the driveway is on the challenging side. Beds were comfortable. The shower door has some difficulty closing and the sliding doors didn't slide to well. Overall our stay was good.

Awesome house

We really enjoyed our stay, I have been coming to Fraser for over 15 years and this house is definitely in my top 3. It is very clean, quite new and fitted out well. Also great designed house, very clever. Beds are relatively new which is a major plus.

This was an amazing house to stay at, beautiful and clean when arriving and amazing water pressure for cleaning cars with. Good location with easy access to many major destinations on the island. You will not be disappointed in this house, while it may not have the flashy views of some other holiday rentals you will be pleased you chose this house.

I had a great couple of weeks at Pacific Blue. Top house, great view, close to everything. Everything's you need is provided. I even caught a few feeds of fish. I would definitely book this place again. Pete

Clean & comfortable

Great property. Easy to locate. Comfortable with a group of 6 adults and 3 kids under 3. Be mindful of the sprinklers so you dont get caught out with cars being open/windows down. Raised a hazard with the host which hasnt been acknowledged (exposed pipe in backyard which childs leg fell into).

Beautiful house, beautiful location!

We had such an amazing stay here at Pacific Blue. The house was clean, modern and spacious. It had a great outdoor area with views to the ocean. Quick drive or walk to the Orchid Beach shops and the beach. It had a fish filleting station which was so handy as we caught fish every day. Handheld showers outside too so we could clean the sand off our feet before going into the house. We can’t wait to come back here again! Loved our stay here.
