"This was an incredible find. Clean (impeccable), beautiful (images can’t do it justice), private, quiet, and a short walk down the path to the beach. Jeanette and Shawn were prompt communicators. The view is astounding at all times of day in all kinds of weather. We order the charcuterie board, which was lovely for our first night and just kept on giving for various snacks or meals over 3 days. The deviled eggs were a very nice touch and allowed me to make breakfast one morning with leftover prosciutto on the side. The beach chairs and cover were definitely needed and we appreciated that they were in the condo when we arrived. A wonderful experience and I would absolutely book again.Note - if you plan to rent bikes , I might do some research before deciding on the “extra” offer through this listing. The bikes we received were worn and rusty and a bit dangerous in my experience, as the turn radius caused me to hit my shoe/pedal. I don’t know if there are better options on the island, but I would avoid these bikes if possible. I did request a refund for one of the bikes, but was denied. Shaun sent a different set of bikes for us, though I’d asked him not to bother. Similar issues. The issue, honestly, was that bikes don’t come near the standard of everything else in this incredible experience - and for me, the bikes were not safe."
Exquisitely Furnished Home Surrounded by Golf Courses, Tennis Courts, & Beaches

"Overall this was a great property! We would likely stay here again as the location was great for the price. The kitchen was well appointed, it was nicely furnished and decorated. It is hard to find rentals that do not put size restrictions on dogs so this was perfect for us. However, a few small things just somewhat lessen the property appearance. The mini blinds in the kitchen and dining areas are damaged and were hanging crooked when we arrived. There are some areas where the drywall tape is pulling away from the ceiling and it just gives the property a distressed look. Those are purely cosmetic and don't really affect things and can be easily fixed. The owners might want to consider a new double sized mattress in the 2nd bedroom though. It was rough sleeping on a hill as my husband's side sank when he laid down- to the point that I had to put a pillow under me to keep from rolling over. Keep in mind that he is not a large man. We did have an issue in the master bath with the shower door falling off onto someone, at least it was our son who could catch it and keep it from shattering. Luckily our 1 year old granddaughter was not bathing at the time. But we called and someone came to fix it in a very timely manner. Having vacationed on Kiawah almost yearly over the past 20 years we know that there is a certain expectation. This property is close to meeting that expectation but could use some small adjustments to raise that level."

"Just the getaway we needed! This home was perfectly set among the twisting oaks with a picturesque ocean view. We loved the thoughtful nooks, comfortable beds, and quick access to the beautiful beach! We would certainly come back again. It was perfect!"
