Aloha! When you rent this condo, you will be renting from me, Kevin. I own, manage and maintain this property. The pictures are recent and accurate. I am the person who answers your questions and assists you if needed. I do not shuffle you around to different units. The condo you see is the one in which you stay. If you have a question on a Saturday, you will receive a response from me and not have to wait until Monday. I make sure you have highest quality Maui experience. I live 5 min. away so be sure to reach out to me if you have a question.

My 1 bedroom/1 bath 2nd floor end unit condo is spacious and quiet. Located at Kihei Bay Vista C208 is a small boutique resort across the street from Kalepolepo State Park and The Pacific Whale Foundation. Turtles come on shore at night at the park to sleep. The condo is located within walking distance to two restaurants; Monsoon, an excellent Indian restaurant and Isana, for great fish and sushi.
Bamboo flooring in living and bedroom, stainless steel appliances, queen-sized bed and full-sized futon with 7.5" memory foam make for at-home feel. The lanai overlooks the manicured gardens and crystalline pool, a perfect spot for morning coffee or afternoon refreshments. The complex is well lit giving you a safe arrival. A keyless entry system with rotating code ensures a secure contactless entry at any hour.

Get away from the hustle and bustle of the larger condo complexes and book with me. Kihei Bay Vista has only 60 units and is in a private setting. You will enjoy the lovely Hawaiian gardens and view from your very own private lanai. A gas BBQ area, a pristine swimming pool and hot tub await you. The Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary is across the street, as well as 3 miles of Sugar Beach. Also it is close to one of the largest stretches of sandy beach on Maui, perfect for sunbathing, strolls, swimming, jogging, and water sports such as kite boarding and surfing! Catch a whale watch cruise from Maalaea Harbor (during season), just a 10 minute drive from our property

Make your friends jealous. Selfies on a Zip-line through a tropical plantation, snorkeling with turtles or at 10K feet above it all on top of Haleakala! Maui is our home. Contact us for more Maui activity ideas. We can make suggestions; whale watching, island hot spots, dine with celebrity chefs, car rental and seasonal events.

I recommend booking your last night of your stay if you have a late flight. It is much easier to leave from the condo rather than wonder where to sit all day until your plane boards.

What guests have been saying: "clean", "centrally located for Maui sightseeing", "close to shopping and restaurants", "quiet, safe and secure".

Recommendations: I would rent a car. Bring snacks and drinks, picnics are the way to enjoy every day's excursion.

Beaches: Sugar Beach is one of the best on Maui, across the street and 6 miles of white sand awaiting your footprints.

Located in Kihei Town, 20 min. from Kahului Airport (OGG).

clean comfy apt! The owner was a terrific communicator and offered some great places to eat and visit. We drank our coffee on the balcony each morning overlooking the pool and then walked across the street to watch the sunset. Will visit again.

Kevin is a great host who communicates and is very easy to work with. The condo is exactly as advertised…clean, great amenities, close to beach, etc..would highly recommend to anytime looking to enjoy Southside Maui. We would definitely stay here again.

Great getaway

The condo was a great getaway. Just across the road from the beach with amenities that made for a convenient beach day. In the morning and sundown we were able to see Sea Turtles. The condo was comfortable, with everything we needed. Close to shopping and food. Kevin was an amazing host and very tentative.

Fabulous place to stay

Truly a fantastic place to stay. Clean, comfortable and well maintained. Perfect location, central to areas. Beach was right across the street. Fun to walk on the beach, swim and watch for turtles. Great places to eat as well. Perfect Hawaiian experience.

Amazing experience!

Kevin was an amazing host. The condo was clean, beautiful and conveniently located on the island. About a week prior to our arrival our host found out that the pool was to be resurfaced while we were there, meaning we could not use it. He was sure to let us know immediately and arrange for us to be able to use another pool close by! We were so happy with our stay and we will for sure come back and stay here again.

Great Kihei Location

My daughters and I enjoyed very much our stay at Kevin's condo. The instructions were clear and the property was clean and comfortable. It was well stocked with high quality pots and pans and any utensil you could imagine. Included is a washer and dryer, which was much appreciated. The pool is right there and the beach is steps away. Also...in a safe neighborhood.

Great condo right across from the beach

We had a wonderful stay at Kevin's condo. The first night coming in late the pay it forward pantry was very nice. The A/C feels great. We really enjoyed the beach gear available to use. The beach right across from the condo has turtles along a rock wall where the surf is very gentle and it is very shallow making for great turtle viewing for the whole family. The pool and hot tub were perfect. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent!

Such a great experience at this property. Everything was clean and well cared for, and we had everything we needed for a week long stay (plenty of kitchen supplies!). The hot tub and pool were a great bonus, and being right across the street from a quiet beach was great for morning walks (and seeing lots of turtles! It was also great to have access to the beach towels, chairs, etc so we didn’t have to think about bringing anything with us. Kevin was very responsive and welcoming. Will absolutely stay here next time I visit and can’t recommend it enough.

Perfect Vacation Condo

It’s that time to say…A Hui Ho to my island Maui. My family enjoyed our time here. The unit provided everything we could ask for….clean, good location, amenities such as a pool, bbq area, beach right across the street where you could see many turtles. I’m very impressed with Kevin our host as he made sure the unit was ready to go. Kevin provided that local aloha vibe and checked in on us periodically to see how we were doing or if we had any questions at all. I loved that. My family and I were able to have dinner on the balcony and take in the smells tropical flowers and the fresh ocean smell. My son truly enjoyed the pool time, too. It was perfect for the three of us as my wife and I slept in the bedroom while my son slept on the pull out futon. Kevin also provided a cooler, beach chairs and boogie boards that we definitely took advantage of. Thank you Kevin for letting us stay in this beautiful condo and for providing your warm aloha. We will definitely stay here again — no doubt about it!…until then Maui… Aloha!!

BEWARE - Don't complain about anything in the condo ...

When we arrived, the TV was not working properly (no YouTube, etc.) In all of our communication, Kevin, the owner, seemed helpful and responsive. All of his messages ended with "If you need something during your stay, please let me know, I live 5 min. away." So, with this in mind I tried to contact Kevin. A once responsive owner, was now silent. After messaging, and calling several time, Kevin finally called back. Now, the carefree, helpful, mahalo facade revealed a very rude individual. After an unnecessarily long conversation about the TV problems, where I was lectured for watching TV in Maui (Hey, its my vacation, and I'll do what I want), he reluctantly came over to fix the problem. While Kevin was working with the TV, my wife was in the kitchen making dinner. She had been noticing how dirty the condo was. She had already swept the sandy floors. While preparing dinner she noted that most of the dishes were dirty and needed to be washed before use. This level of dirtiness is with a VERY EXPENSIVE cleaning fee!!! I'm okay with paying a cleaning fee, so long as the VRBO is clean. Why are we paying a cleaning fee, if we have to sweep the floor upon arrival, clean all of the dishes before use, and then take out the garbage and wash all of the linen before checking out? What are we actually paying for? NOTHING! Upon mentioning this to Kevin, he became very angry, yelled at us to get out of his condo. He said we had 5 minutes to pack and kicked us out!

Exactly like the photos, only better.

This quiet condo was perfect for our needs. It is exactly as listed, and the photos don't do it justice. The grounds are beautifully kept, the pool is beautiful, and the location was just right. Kevin is a very responsive host and truly thought of everything. We highly recommend this!
