"Had a nice stay. Beautiful location right on the water. Room was clean and shower was hot. Great restaurant a 10 minute walk. Quite a few walking trails and such a short drive away. Only negative was the full Irish breakfast - bacon and sausage were overcooked, poached eggs were cooked hard through, and potatoes were premade dry hashbrown wedges. Edible, so not really worth the hassle of sending back, but disappointing. Yogurt and bread and juice were fine, though. Son’s salmon and scrambled...

"We stayed at the second property on the site, Lavender Lane Cottage, which was a lovely newly refurbished 200 year old cottage. It had three double bedrooms(one upstairs) an open plan kitchen, dining area and living area which was all minimalistic but modern and had every amenity we needed for our stay (Con even left us tea/coffee/bread and milk) We felt at home straightaway and all said we could live there. The bathroom was again modern in an old worldly setting, with plenty of hot water...

"Con and Marlene were quite accomodating and pleasant. Their hospitality was stellar and they truky made our stay wonderful. As for the farmhouse, it was so cozy and warm. It really is a Family Farmhouse deluxe! Definitely make it a point to stay here as they have both the farmhouse and a cottage option. Simply Lovely!"
