Honeyfield Lodge - Spacious Cottage, Rural Views

Puffin Cottage Holidays is delighted to present Honeyfield Lodge a spacious three-bedroom cottage in Pembrokeshire, with rural countryside views and parking.

Pembrokeshire is a stunning coastal county, known for its breathtaking landscapes, beautiful beaches, and rich history. It's home to the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, the only national park in the UK that's entirely focused on coastal scenery, this includes the 186-mile Pembrokeshire Coast Path, past rugged cliffs, sheltered coves and stunning beaches.

Honeyfield Lodge is located in rural Cold Inn near Saundersfoot, it provides an ideal base for your family holiday. Close by are the charming seaside towns, Tenby and Saundersfoot, both of which are popular for their scenic beauty, history, and lovely beaches, other stunning villages include, Narberth, Amroth, and a little further afield, St David's, the smallest city in the UK.

Tenby is known for its medieval town walls, cobbled streets, and colourful Georgian houses. The town has a rich history, and its iconic harbour area is especially picturesque, don’t forget the beautiful sandy beaches, with North Beach and South Beach being particularly popular and the harbour, bustling with activity, from fishing boats to pleasure cruises. It’s a great spot for taking a boat trip to explore nearby Caldey Island.

Saundersfoot is a small but vibrant seaside village, it offers a more relaxed, laid-back atmosphere compared to Tenby but is just as picturesque. Saundersfoot Beach is a golden sandy beach perfect for families, with shallow waters that are ideal for swimming or even kayaking and paddleboarding. The lovely harbour, where you can watch the fishing boats come in, or even take a boat trip to explore the coastline. Saundersfoot is on the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, so there are great walks to enjoy along the coastline, offering incredible views of the cliffs and the sea.

Honeyfield Lodge is located in the small rural village of Cold Inn near many local attractions, including Folly Farm, Heatherton World Of Activities, Manor House Wildlife Park and the Dinosaur Park.

A very restful holiday!

An absolutely lovely house, the photos on the website simply don't do it justice. It is beautifully furnished and equipped, everything was provided that we could possibly have wanted. Sadly, the weather wasn't good enough to sit outside but the property was lovely and warm, so we were very comfortable. Some small maintenance is needed, a nitpicking consideration, but the electric shower in the ensuite bathroom needs looking at. It doesn't always switch off the water with the button on the unit and needed to be turned off with the isolation pull cord switch. Not ideal for those less steady on their feet. Apart from that, I've marked cleanliness down to 4* because, it seems that housekeeping missed cleaning the small-child handprints from the inside of the patio windows. They also missed some rubbish in the unused by us bedrooms. Also, if the weather had been better I would have contacted the property manager for the key to the patio door. None of the keys in the property fitted, perhaps it should be on a marked key ring, or an inside key box?
