Staffing issues were clear from the start, only 1 person running the whole hotel. On check in informed last orders for food 8pm but when we tried to order at 7.40 staff point blank refused to take our order stating they did not have any food. Staff clearly stressed, ordered a coffee and an hour after the order questioned where it was and was met with the reply ‘FFS!’ We we’re unable to order breakfast again only 1 member of staff taking orders, cooking and clearing tables and being on a tight timescale we were unable to find a clean table and couldn’t take the risk of the long wait. Check out - no one available, left room key on counter along with a note saying we had left. Not a cheap hotel to have such terrible customer service
