Mountain retreat – stunning views, hot tub, gas fireplace, bunk room
10/10 Excellent
"Very well appointed house with brand new high end everything. Great view of the mountain, nice hot tub, fire pit, outdoor screened porch sitting area. Overall top tier property! "

Rangeley Lake Resort a Ramada by Wyndham
10/10 Excellent
"The unit was great, but there aren't a lot of cooking utensils and knives."

The Skowhegan By Kasa
4/10 Poor
"This place at first look is super nice. If you stayed just for a night two you would probably not be phased. We stayed here for 3 weeks while we had water damage remediation at our house. We had a deluxe room with a king size bed and a separate living area with a sofa bed. There were 4 of us, myself, husband and two kids. So my first complaint is that the coffee table you need to move to pull out the sofa bed literally weighs 200 lbs. They can call it a room that sleeps 4 but it was really not functional. The room had a stovetop and refrigerator but was advertised as a “kitchenette.” The only microwave was downstairs and didn’t work. The only heat is the bedroom so if the door was closed the bedroom would get really hot and the living room would get cold. This place is more Airbnb style, you couldn’t get toilet or towels unless it was before 3. That was fine after we figured it out. There were quite a few times that we ran out things like toilet paper, trash bags, towels etc. and it was after employee hours. Would have been nice to know ahead of time that after 3 pm those things are not available. Also there is no place to get rid of trash, again found this out after hours. We were told to leave it inside our room and someone would pick it up the next day. This was just annoying, other rooms started putting it out in the hall. Be prepared to receive constant texts about "

Sugarloaf Mountain Hotel
8/10 Good
"Decent, but a little dated hotel. You're really paying for the (almost) slopeside convenience. Absolutely chaotic Sunday check-in, with the room barely ready by 5pm! The thermostat (room was freezing) didn't work initially & it took two attempts to finally fix it, so that we could finally set the room temperature ourselves. Several outlets in the room were also non-functional. That said, the location is great & the staff were super friendly & helpful. Fantastic hot tub also! We didn't try the restaurant food @ 59 North, but there's no way I am paying $29 for a breakfast buffet unless I am in Hawaii!"

Bingham Motor Inn
6/10 Okay
"If your looking to rest your head for 1 night its ok. But expect the conditions you will see. It snowed and NO ONE even cleared the stairs or deck . Its an old place. Not exactly quiet either. The traffic on the road was crazy.
Thanks for the quick stay. "

Sugarloaf - Walk to Lift in Ski Boots
10/10 Excellent
"Thank you, we had a wonderful stay. Jessica is an outstanding host. She checked in a few times to ensure we had everything we needed and that things were going well. The condo location is awesome, ski in/out and so close to the lodge. The updated amenities are top notch, comfortable accommodations and the light that comes into the kitchen/living area is lovely. We had everything we needed for a wonderful stay and the local beer/seltzers in the fridge were a thoughtful touch! "

Terrapin Hostel
10/10 Excellent
"Clean room, nice towels in a clean bathroom, lovely self-serve kitchen, and sitting area. "

Hillholm Estate
2/10 Terrible
"Spend more than $200 and no hot water at night, and couldn't take a shower. No respond till morning. Terrible experience. "

Carrabassett River Retreat
10/10 Excellent
"We fully enjoyed our stay at this spacious and warm place. The host is very friendly and responsive to all our questions and needs. It comfortably fits 12 people and is very clean, with just a short drive to the Sugarloaf resort. Will definitely stay here again if we come back to this mountain!"
