Would absolutely stay here again - lovey getaway at a great hotel. The room was clean with great attention to detail (we loved the Frette linens). Our room had a fireplace which made the room feel cozy and made for the perfect winter night stay.

Hotel was very cute and clean and spacious. Nicely appointed and decorated. They have cookies at check in. Kingston is andor with great shopping and restaurants and very walkable. The staff said they would call when room was ready and they didn’t. Temperature control in the room was challenging and it was very dry. If we opened the window, there was a loud air vent from restaurant next door. No fan/vent in bathroom. Breakfast was meh. But I would stay there again.

A Five-Star Haven During Snowmageddon The staff at Hotel Kinsley turned what could have been a stressful snowmageddon into a truly five-star experience. Every person who cared for us was kind, genuine, and somehow managed to make gourmet lemonade out of lemons—despite the blizzard outside. It began with Elizabeth, whose warm smile practically melted the snow. Greg kept us laughing and went above and beyond to make sure I didn’t have to brave the storm—and that we enjoyed a truly sumptuous breakfast. Simon was a steady presence, taking care of us around the clock with delicious meals and every amenity we could need. And finally, Ralph, who diligently cleared feet of accumulated snow, saving me from nearly half an hour of freezing work on my car and keeping the parking lot safe and drivable. I can’t thank these people enough. We also loved relaxing by the roaring fire in the hotel’s vibey restaurant, beneath a striking photograph of George Harrison reminding us that “All Things Must Pass.” And since they do, I can’t think of a better place to be than Hotel Kinsley. I look forward to returning—no matter the weather.

Very cute hotel with multiple buildings that are close together so easy to head back to the main building for a meal or drinks. However, they didn’t seem to have an efficient system in place for continental breakfast. They gave us the wrong timing for it our first day so we showed up after it was over which they apologized for and gave us a compensation to make up for it. The next day we showed up on time and breakfast was out but they said we couldn’t sit in the restaurant because they were setting up for an event and said to bring it “upstairs” but we were staying in a different building. We ended up eating at the bar which they were fine with it. Food selection was small and not a lot of variety. I would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Kingston but let them know to not expect too much out of the continental breakfast.

What a wonderful hotel experience. Very nice room with an excellent mattress, pillows and bed linens. The hotel bar and restaurant were also excellent and the service was superb. Will absolutely stay here again when in Kingston.

Great staff and very comfortable.

Our stay at the hotel was relaxing and the staff were super friendly. We needed to get some work done, so having access to a converted carriage house/business center was especially nice.
