Very little to like. The electrical power went off, the hotel was not able to fix the power outrage because they did not have a back up generator. Expedia customer service was poor at best and kept me on the phone close to two hours to solve the problem.

The stairs were very steep. The hotel itself was dated but acceptable for our stay. There could be some upgrades to the hotel to make it seem a little nicer. It was a basic hotel that did it's job and allowed us to sleep comfortably with no distractions.

Plenty of parking. The man at the counter was always there and helpful 10pm or 6am. Does the man sleep?? Everything was very clean. Our room was very clean but as many have said, needs an update. Even the ac filters were clean. The tv wasn’t working and the front desk guy came I. And fixed it in 3 minutes. The room looks abused and well used. The tub had a crack. The ceiling tiles had water stains. The lamp shade by the bed had a large crack. And these are just a few things I noticed. But as I said, everything was very clean.

I arrived early and the woman at the desk was helpful and was able to accommodate the early check in. She also suggested a great place nearby to visit. Overall, the hotel was clean, yet was in need of some maintenance, for example, a peeling bathroom door, stained ceiling and chairs in my room, and the shower did not convert from bath to overhead even though I tried multiple times. I was disappointed that, as my room was located next to the lobby, there was a group of people just outside my door that socialized, loudly, for a long period of time. As staff is present 24 hours, I was surprised that this allowed to continue until after midnight. A plus was the 24 hour availability of coffee in the cafe area, and breakfast was ready quite early which included scrambled eggs. With some more investment in energy attentive to traveler’s needs, the hotel has promise. However, the price for one night exceeds the quality of the stay.

In general, this hotel is run down. The hotel carpets are in need of cleaning. When I was barefooted on them, the carpet felt damp and dirty. The room had an extremely strong smell of room freshener. The parking lots was not well marked for spaces and the back door entrance either stuck or was slammed closed a lot. It was a barely adequate. The woman at the desk was very nice and hospitable. I would not stay here again if I were in the area.
