Comfortable but poorly maintained.

The good: the bed was comfortable, the place was quiet, the price was reasonable. The bad: paint in the room was a bit chipped, the breakfast was nearly non-existent, and when we moved the armchair there was a big pile of schmutz under it - clearly hadn't been swept under for SEVERAL stays.

Every time

I stay here every time I am in Kingston. It is very budget friendly and is a good deal for the price. It is not a fancy place but comfortable. The bed was great, the heat was pumping and the water pressure was excellent. The staff was also incredibly helpful and attentive.

This is a Super 8, so that is the quality you get. HOWEVER, the manager and staff are so friendly, helpful, welcoming, really doing a great job! It was because of the staff that when I decided to stay in the area two more nights, I stayed there. The location is also great.

Super 8 by Wyndham in Kingston, NY

It was just one night and everything was just fine. Comfortable bed, good shower, good WiFi....seedy in spots in the room but that was expected. No bugs which I had been warned about. They need to up their signage outside to include the full name of the hotel. There's just one ancient "Super 8" sign near the road but you wouldn't know it was a Wyndham hotel at all.

The Staff was friendly and professional. But the property does not look ANYTHING like the pics online. The room was dingy and not well kept. The bathroom paint and baseboards were peeling off from constant humidity. The shower curtain wouldn't stay closed, so water constantly floods the floor, thus the peeling baseboard. It appears that the entire structure needs and overhaul and modernization.

We have stayed here before and it wasn’t as nice as our recent stay. It was a last minute reservation as we needed a break in the driving and a hot shower as we were in the heat all day. Room was clean, bed was very comfy. Quiet too. Check in went smoothly!

Haven’t been back to NY since 2005. Came home to lay my parents to rest. Super 8 staff were awesome. Very courteous and accommodating. The room was clean and house keeping were very proactive in keeping our needs met. Would book again.

Let’s start with the good stuff. The staff was friendly and helpful, and housekeeping was excellent. My room was clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed. There was an in-room coffee maker that made decent coffee (but I put in very little water to make it strong). The property itself is just outside of town, but feels distant, and nothing seems walkable. The building is old and badly in need of updating, both inside and out. There weren’t a dozen cars in the parking lot but one door had a sign declaring no vacancy. To be honest, it didn’t feel quite safe. Okay for a quick stop (it’s very near the highway) as a single guy, but I would hesitate to recommend for families.
