"We like the playground just in front of the room. The pool is closes. The motel is degraded and used. The owner is kind. We like our stay for the activities nearby in the Catskill region."

"The breakfast was not diabetic friendly. They stated pet friendly but no place for dog to go to the bathroom. Had to walk dog through garbage . Cigarette butts all over very the place. Beds were terrible. My towels had clumps of black hair on them. Lotion and shampoos left in room were used not new ones. Will not go back"

"I booked through Hotels.com which told me I would owe $80 at the property for two rooms. When I got there I was charged $66 for each room. I was told that they have not been receiving the taxes that Hotels.com had charged therefore they needed to charge me. When I pointed out that that is an issue between them and Hotels.com they said they understood but needed to charge me, which they did . I then asked for receipts and was told they would be emailed to me. 4 days and 2 calls later I still have not received anything"
"Not a cheap place ! Let’s start with the smell - strong marijuana smell, and we were traveling with 11 yers old kid. Not family friendly. The room wasn’t clean, everything outdated. We couldn’t close the bathroom door all the way. Misleading advertising. The website stated there is a free breakfast and free Wi Fi. Well, none of that. “ Free breakfast “ was coffee and hot water. No toasters, no bread. None. “ Free Wi Fi” is only if you sign up for a membership, if not you have to pay. And more… the hotel is infected by rodents. I was standing in a middle of my room and a mouse ran right in front of me across the room right under my bed. I came to the front desk to ask for help. I got no help, but a staff member told me they know about it, they have rodents all over the place. And no, they didn’t offer to return my money, I didn’t get a different room. We were hardly sleeping our last night, unfortunately we couldn’t leave right away."
Best Western Plus Kingston Hotel And Conference Center

"First Lady at the desk was rude and dismissive from the start and straight up walked away without saying anything. This then turned into a 25-30 minute wait with nobody at the front desk to assist. When the lady eventually came back, she had an even crappier attitude. The second guy (Kevin) was a not much better…. After a two hour and half hour delay to get our room, the lock was busted and when we told him about it he suggested we just use the arm bar on the door (the one that allows partial opening) and thought this was a sufficient answer to the inadequate maintenance they had conducted on their property. It was readily apparent that other room doors had similar problems and damage was plainly visible on many of them from the outside. Kevin’s suggestion was dismissive of the issue at hand, and totally negligent in terms of high quality customer service. All this to say that a quick call to Best Westerns Customer Service support line seemed to motivate the team to finally solve the problems we alerted them to. After another delay, we were provided with a different room that was adequate but smelled strongly of cigar smoke.
Overall 1/10 at best. The bed was quality though, I slept soundly."

"Misleading listing. Apartment is 2 blocks from major freight train route which ran all through the night. Clearly a known noise issue with earplugs and white noise machines in the bedroom. Would have been better to know upfront this would interrupt sleep throughout the night. Backs onto a bar so band noises till 1am. Backyard is tired and not as presented."
