"Staff was friendly and helpful. While the property was dated, it was clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again at this place should I return to Windham"

"Very pleasant place reminiscent of the 1950s. The owner is a very nice man, honestly caring about his guests. If you're looking for luxurious accommodations this probably isn't for you but if you want cozy friendly it's that."

"The staff, location and hotel were wonderful. However, I had my 21 and 24 year old children check In before my husband and I. My daughter was nervous to stay because they heard people complain at the desk about being in their room and another family had a key and came into their room. They were double booked. My daughter was concerned about safety. We had no where else to go and the night went fine, but still…."
"We enjoyed our stay at Hampton Inn. They had a lot of area to walk our dogs. The hot breakfast was good. Very nice, spacious room! Would stay at Hampton Inn again!"
The Quaint House: Modern Heritage in Roundout Kingston Waterfront

"The interior bedroom pictures we found to be very accurate. Shower and Bathroom was excellent. Interior very well appointed. Bedding, beds, pillows, towels all comfortable and good quality. The home is a much older, historic type home. Although the home was clean, their was a smell during our stay that reminded us of pet smells. We figured that with the age of the home, there is a good possibility that the smell is just in the wooden floors. The area was under a heat advisory, if you own a home, you know smells come out in chimneys or floors or walls of older homes in intense heat. It was very noticeable each time we entered the home. The exterior of the home itself could have been better maintained. Parking was difficult on the street. Loud Party on the street our first night, Lots of outside noise. Although there are many beautiful homes with charm on the street and in the area, most need a lot of attention so we were a little disappointed in our area choice. We were visiting the Hyde Park area most of our stay and that was about a 30-35 minute drive. Host was very responsive."
"Great little place! The cabin was very clean and sits in a great spot. Very relaxing place to pop off grid. Nothing fancy, but has everything you need."
