I believe people may live above floor two and they stayed up walking around until after midnight. Wouldn’t be a problem at all except there is no sound proofing in the room I was in. "First off, this is not a hotel, it's lots of apartments. There are no onsite Highland Club restaurants, room service food or anything like it. The apartments are full on, proper homes with kitchens so bring some food, even if it's just basic stuff. For food shopping and eateries you can walk into the town in a few minutes and get something to eat. The pub (The Lock Inn) was pretty good. There is a restaurant in the grounds of the house which provided food which was edible but you wouldn't rush back in a hurry. As for the Highland Club, it's beautiful. Everything was built and is maintained to the highest standard. The pool is warm and clean. The grounds of the property are extensive and beautiful. The Internet is fast and reliable, the onsite staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. So, if you're looking for a traditional hotel, think twice before booking. If you're wanting to stay somewhere with all the historical character combined with comfort and cleanliness then do book."

"The property has a combination of old and some refurbished rooms. We were initially given an older room, with limited wifi and the TV not working. After insisting with the staff they moved us to a refurbished room. The breakfast options are excellent. The staff is friendly and hard working. The location can serve as a good base for both Glencoe and Isle of Skye, although the drive to skye could get to be more than 6 hours in total. Overall a quiet and nice cozy hotel."

"Cute little area next to the canal. Cafe/gift shop right downstairs. Parking is down the street. Room was very nice and clean. Bed was comfortable (not so much the pillows though). Shower had great water pressure. WiFi didn’t work, staff did not respond to our message. Poor cell service as well, so WiFi would have been nice."
