"Beautiful historical hotel, the rooms were comfortable, the bed too and we liked the vintage style fridge. Because this is a historical building the walls are very thin and you can hear everything! I'd give it a higher rating but the thin walls were an annoyance. Also, no AC in the unit."

"The location is exceptional. The history of the building is one of a kind. The lobby and art gallery are great. My wife and I have stayed at the Old Alcohol Plant Inn twice, and we are already thinking about going back there next year."
"The little farm house was a wonderful getaway for me and my two kids (12 and 17). Loved being right across from the water for the views and the ability to easily drop in our stand up paddle boards and explore the water. We also visited multiple state parks for hiking and hanging at the sandy beaches. The house itself was incredibly charming and had all we needed. "
"We loved our trip to the Sandcastle! Gorgeous views, comfy beds, and long walks along the beach made for a peaceful family vacation. We took day trips to Port Townsend and to Bainbridge Island to catch the Seattle Ferry. We also hiked Anderson Lake State Park which was gorgeous. All in all there is so much to do here and the Sandcastle was the perfect headquarters for our adventures. The kids loved the water at high tide and had lots of fun exploring low tide. Great opportunity to unplug and enjoy nature. "
"Very off the grid. Nice walkable property. The bed in our tent was very uncomfortable, extremely hard.
Head to cut our visit sorry due to illness but would go back with extra supplies to make the bed more comfortable."

"This site is nice. Definitely off grid. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, hard at a rock. The tioilet/porta potty to the site we booked was out of order so we needed to go to the next site over.We had to cut our trip sorry due to illness and couldn't get a refund."
"This place is very accurately described & offers a quiet, very pleasant setting and nice views to the south and east. Very good responses from the property manager, both quick and helpful, too!"
