Beautiful Oceanview Retreat 2 Bedroom Home

"This was a great economical choice for getting away on a tight budget. The only drawback is that I did book relatively last minute (on a Friday to stay the following Tuesday) and when we arrived it had not been cleaned and the beds had not been changed. I reached out to the host via the Vrbo app explaining that we were there but it didn’t look ready for us but we had to takeoff to a 4 o’clock appointment (3 o’clock checkin). When we were done with our appointment I could see that the host had tried to call and so I called back and they apologized profusely and realized that the updated cleaning schedule hadn’t got to the attention of the one doing the cleaning after our last-minute reservation. By the time I talked with the host the cleaning person was already on their way to come and take care of it. Unfortunately the cleaning person was getting there right after 6 PM and would need about an hour and a half to complete the wash and restore everything as it should be and so we ended up having to go out to eat that evening which I had not planned on. I really appreciated the host getting back to me as soon as they did but I will say this did greatly impact our one night stay as far as time and money. Probably wouldn’t have been such a big deal if we were staying multiple nights. Once the cleaning person left the place was beautiful and comfortable."

"Andrew and Julie's home was beautifully decorated, cozy, and very well stocked with all the amenities to make you feel right at home. It was an absolute treat to be able to enjoy sunrise and sunset from their deck overlooking the bay. We actually regretted that we were out and about and not just enjoying the house more. They had very clear check-in/check-out instructions that made arrival and departure quick and easy and they were very responsive to messages. I would absolutely recommend a stay."

"We had such a wonderful stay! The view was absolutely breathtaking, and the house itself was beautifully maintained and thoughtfully decorated. Everything felt warm, inviting, and comfortable. The kids absolutely loved it and had such a great time. Our host, Yan was also wonderful! She was super responsive, incredibly kind, and so easy to communicate with. It was the perfect place for a relaxing and memorable getaway, and we would very happily stay there again!"

"Very charming tiny home! Extremely clean and well furnished. Lovely spot with views of the water. Wall cooler cooled the tiny house effectively. We loved it and would recommend it! However, if you are looking at booking there are a few things to be aware of: There is no beach access from the property. The pictures we saw on the booking site seem to be older - there are two camper trailers parked (seemingly long-term/permanently) directly in front of the property, so it is not secluded and alone on a large empty space of land. The neighbors were quiet and respectful, but one of the trailers had flashing decorative lights that shone directly into the living space where the couch bed is (even with blinds closed - my daughter thought it was police cars). There was also construction happening directly behind the tiny home; but they respected usual working hours. It is a quick jaunt over to Port Townsend. These things were not a big deal to us as tenants, and it is a lovely little spot. We recommend."
