"We stayed in the newer wing of the hotel which was very lovely. The rooms were spacious and the interior was very modern. The hotels restaurant also served delicious food though there are not many other options near by. I woild stay here again. "

"I stayed here 4 times now and absolutely love these cottages! Great location just outside of Grundarfjordur...very quiet and peaceful with great views looking out to ocean, mountains/Kirkjufell, and beautiful sunsets! Cottage as everything you need even small stove plate on the kitchenette you feel like cooking. Hosts also great and reply in timely manner to emails."

"The room is pretty clean, (Spotless) it has nice kitchen Amenity. Three Coffee Pots (which is excellent). I only drink instant coffee and I need a bigger pot for making my instant Caramel Macchiato coffee. We only used the room for one night to rest (For Kirkjufell waterfalls and Aurora Borealis Photography) The room is sufficient enough for one night."

"Was in the the basement this time. No decorations /walls bare. Shower splatters water all over (short curtain) floor gets very slippery.kitchen stocked very well . Nice place but over priced "
