"We stayed here while visiting Crescent City to explore the Redwoods and it was great. The house was really excellent for our family. Beds were comfy and there was lots of room for us to spread out and enjoy our time there. The shared living spaces were excellent. "This is an awesome beachfront hotel. The beach is long and wide and easy to walk with lots of seashells and sand dollars. The room is updated, clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly. It was nice to have free drinks and a nice espresso machine in the lobby. There’s a big friendly dog there too. The only drawback is the rooms are very close together and the walls are a bit thin so it can be noisy, depending on the neighbors. But on the other hand, it’s kind of an old-fashioned set up where you share a front porch and it’s easy to say hello and meet fellow guests. I’d definitely stay here again if I was ever in the area."

"It's clear that this is a dated hotel. At check in, I was told that the pool and hot tub and sauna were open daily until midnight. I was actually quite excited because I rarely get to hotel pools due to their hours. When we went down, there was a pump in the pool, the shower was closed, and the jets on the hot tub did not work. So I put my feet in for a few minutes (it was heated) then we left, only to find a sign on the door that said "Sorry, pool is closed" that wasn't easily visible. I'm shocked that my room key worked for a "closed" area and I'm especially unhappy that it was communicated that it was actually open when it wasn't. Also the housekeeping staff allowed the doors to slam shut every time they entered and exited the rooms and because of the age/layout it shook our room and was incredibly annoying when we were trying to sleep late after a very long drive. Now for the redeeming features. The view! The food and drinks at the restaurant and the wait staff were awesome! Parking is super easy, and it was definitely kept clean."

"The room was clean and seemed recently remodeled. The bed wasn't the most comfortable but that's because I prefer a soft bed. Not a lot of amenities but it worked for us as we were just staying one night on our way down south. The man in the office was very nice and accommodating. I would definitely stay there again. "

"This is not the fanciest place we have ever stayed, but it was clean, had a full kitchen and living area and separate bedroom. The views though, AMAZING. We had a beautiful view of the water and ocean and saw too many pelicans to count. Also saw cranes, seagulls, and several sea lions at play. The sunset was gorgeous."

"At first I thought oh dear, but we ended up enjoying our stay here. No TV in room. We ate breakfast here, but dinner was a bit expensive for us. The view from the shared area was beautiful, our said garden view, but it was really of the parking lot, but we weren't in the room much so it was okay. We would stay here again."

"This trip was AMAZING! From the start Michael greeted us with open arms. The RV is spacious, homey and well worth what we paid for. We were even able to park next to the RV and come and go as we pleased. At night the area was quiet and his wife was sooo sweet sending us off, once our trip was done. Will definitely stay here again when we come back! Cheers!"
