"This is a gorgeous boutique accommodation. It's full of charm and positive vibe. Our room was spacious and delightfully decorated. The cutest kitchenette made breakfast-making a breeze. Valerie is wonderful and extremely friendly. This will now be our go to place in beautiful Vermont. Highly Highly recommended."

"Jill was wonderful and very accommodating throughout our stay. She was always prompt and helpful whenever we had a question or needed anything. The home was well equipped with everything we could have needed, and the location was beautiful, especially being so close to the stream and Warren Falls.The only thing I would mention for future guests is that, if you are traveling with small children, you may want to take the ladder/stairs leading up to the beds into consideration. Even the teens and adults in our group found going up and down them a little intimidating at times. I personally felt that they could potentially be a safety concern, particularly for younger children.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and appreciated Jill’s hospitality. The location and setting were beautiful, and Jill was a wonderful host."

"This is a unique lodging, built into a barn. The space is two storeys tall, with a queen and a full bed, one above the other via ladder. They have thought about everything that makes guests feel comfortable. Everything for self-catering is on hand, and placed conveniently and sensibly. There's good water pressure and on-demand hot water.Sleeping in a goat barn was lovely; the warmth and calm of the animals is cosy and somehow reassuring.Our stay was way too brief. Dave was so friendly and welcoming that we would have lived to spend more time there.It's a beautiful place withots to do for friends and families. This place is special."

"Historical manor house that has been converted to a boutique hotel. Some of the room's furnishings and fixtures could be updated and upgraded in quality while keeping to the historical sense. The room and common areas feel a bit basic when the actual building holds a lot of history and character. It wouldn't take much to take this hotel from good to excellent- to start: greater intentionality in selecting period appropriate art and furniture, and creating a lounge space for guests in common areas (with sofas or conversational chairs instead of breakfast tables) would improve the guest experience. Room was clean and the breakfast, though also basic, was good. Excellent location in town with the downtown walkable. Good value for money (as everything is expensive in this part of the world it seems). No amenities to speak of. Parking on site was easy."
