"This was the second Fairfield Inn we stayed at during a cross-country trip, and a disappointment compared to the previous Fairfield Inn night. The shelf in the shower was falling off the wall (caulked), the room's updating was not completed with quality work--the toilet paper holder was loose--the room was somewhat clean but not sparkling clean. The lobby area and breakfast area were clean and nicely appointed. Best of all was the staff--check in clerk was very helpful and directed us to a great restaurant for dinner."

"While this lovely home is called “retro” in decoration, it has all the modern conveniences. A very well stocked kitchen with every appliance you can imagine to cook and bake during your stay. All the rooms are well maintained, very clean, and comfortable including the beds and living room furniture. The owner was responsive to all correspondence and was detailed about entry. The location was easily accessible to a food market and downtown events. If I am in Knoxville again I would certainly stay at this charming home! "

"The staff were wonderful! Soon as we entered, the room looked like a murder scene and smelled of a strong mixture of urine and bleach. I don’t have anything more to say than this place was the most terrifying and disgusting hotel and the pictures would speak better than my words, however they will not attach to this review. The office chair was 50% duct tape, if that helps you visualize things… We were so exhausted late at night upon our arrival that, even though we were completely disgusted and terrified, we decided to stay and try to sleep. We packed and left before 6:00am and told the staff the unacceptable conditions and smells of the room. The desk staff was completely understanding and without hesitation reimbursed the second night we had prepaid at time of booking. Wonderful staff. Completely unacceptable hotel room. "

"This is the worst rental we have ever been to hands down. We texted the owners about some potential issues that we had seen in the reviews and they assured us that they have been fixed. As soon as we walked in the front door all we could smell was mold. The fridge had spilled milk that had rotten inside. The shower curtain was covered in mold. We then checked the bedrooms and under the blankets in one of the bedrooms was hair. Ontop of all of that the front door had holes that you could see daylight through and looked like it had been broken into. We immediately left the property and rented a hotel room. We texted the owners requesting a refund and they said they would “check with their team.” A few days later we still had heard nothing so we texted them again and they had the same response. We still have not heard back from them. "
