We loved our stay at Pingchan Hotel. We were a family of four staying in a beach front villa, after a week in a big hotel on Koh Samui. We wanted to get away from the big tourism of Samui and Pingchan and Thong Nai Pan Beach really delivered! Such an amazing setting, quiet, beach shack bars, beautiful clear water and fine sand and it certainly felt a little off the beaten track. The room was comfortable with all necessary amenities, some areas like the outdoor shower looking a little tired and in need of maintenance, but overall wonderful. Pool to ourselves most of the time, with an amazing jungle backdrop on one side and sea on the other!

Everything was perfect. Comfortable bed in a lovely room in the most beautiful location. Perfect for a quiet getaway with a stunning unspoilt and un-touristy beach just steps away from your door. The service was second to none, special mention for Ken who went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful experience. Food was lovely. We can’t wait to stay here again in the future.

Definitely stay here!
We are a family of 4 that stayed for 4 nights, it was amazing! Just walk up and down the beach to choose from different restaurants and activities. In town (5 minute walk) was street food, small bars, scooter rentals, and everything you need. The staff are so helpful and friendly. My daughter was seasick from the ferry ride and vomited on her blanket. They rushed a laundry order for me so she could have her blanket back to sleep with that night. I would absolutely stay here over and over again.

Nice resort in quiet part of the island.
Family stay in a nice location on a beach that due to the time of the year was mostly empty. The resort was also empty other then our family (three bungalows) there was o my another family for the whole week. Breakfast was lovely although the food ordering system is little but odd. You are allowed to order up to 5 items per person but you can ask for me you serving of these items (you can order plate of fried rice for yourself but ask for three serving of it). The other odd thing was that upon our departure in the reception we have been “presented” with the soap dispenser which we accidentally broke (and advise reception at the time) and was told that they will not charge us for it breaking it as curtesy. The pool is lovely and clean and the room are spacious (a specially the double one) and cleaned and organised beautifully daily.

We had a lovely stay at PingChan. The food was amazing. We tried a couple of other restaurants on the beach and PingChan had the best location and the best food. The grounds were well maintained the beach was amazing. Would def it come back!

Was excellent in every way Food, bar, GORGEOUS beach and ocean to swim in, cleanliness is over the top, cant say enough about the staff they were amazing!!!!! peaceful resort beautiful hut and view very safe and as close as you can get to the true authenticity of Thailand a true paradise definitely looking forward to returning...:)

Pingchan was a perfect relaxation spot which was really chilled out! The beach and water was beautiful, the food was amazing! Rooms were spotless and air conditioning was a dream. We had a really relaxing time! And would go back and recommend!

Dont know where to start, the sweetest staff A+, the food amazing and so inexpensive (we ate there for 3 days lunch and diner and drinks for $120 for 2 people), best beach i be ever seen in my life and not crowded at all, i neber swam with anyone else but myself in the sea. Location is fantastic and super quiet away from the backpaker crowds, ideal for couple or families. Would go back on a heart beat.

This place is amazing. Stayed 7 nights in a beachfront bungalow and never looked back. Was in SE Asia with my wife and son for 2 months and this was one of the best spots. Beautiful rooms, and right on the beach. Can't be beat!

Overpriced mediocre 2.5-star hotel
Extremely Overpriced. We paid around 100 USD (3300 BAHT) per night and expected much higher standards. The pool was tiny and very dirty, the breakfast was a-la-carte (not buffet) and the food was extremely mediocre. Location was not good - almost no nice restaurants around it. Looked like a deserted village

Love this beach, love the location - but for the prices charged they don't quite make 5 stars. Partially they just need to get the design slightly better - finishing touches in the rooms let them down, and the atmosphere in the bar / restaurant in the evenings make this one of the less appealing places to eat and drink on the beach, but there are heaps of good options near by. This is more frustrating as the food is actually pretty good. More importantly the staff are really nice but let the hotel down slightly due to an overly penny pinching attitude. Being warned that they don't want to charge for lost keys but will have to on arrival felt vaguely threatening. Having paid a substantial sum for two rooms for a week to be held at reception when we were due to leave while they ascertained that we had left the requisite 4 beach towels in the rooms seemed unnecessary. Cleaning staff keen not to clean rooms if possible. The breakfast ordering system, with accompanying request not to order more than we would eat so the hotel doesn't have any waste - while perfectly fair in sentiment was also just a bit penny pinching. These are minor grumbles and the management (who are really nice) could fix at not significant cost, but they just add up to making it not quite the experience to match the prices charged. Wish I could give them the full 5 stars.

Great location
The Pingchan is definitely the nicest hotel on this beach. It is a short walk to various restaurants and shops; no need for any transportation once you get there. If you are looking for a place with night life this is not the right place, but if you are looking for a laid back place to relax you can't go wrong with the Pingchan. Definitely recommend upgrading to the first row beachfront bungalows.

Beautiful Hotel with amazing staff
Had an amazing stay at Pingchan. The facilities are well maintained and the rooms beautiful. Right on a beautiful beach that is quiet and relaxing. The staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable and we had some of the best food of our entire trip here! Highly recommended

incredible! highly recommend!
Had a fabulous time. spent 5 days here, the rooms were immaculate and so comfortable! Robes, towels, toiletries all provided along with tea and coffee. Rooms were also cleaned every day. The staff were incredible friendly and helpful, always smiling! Food was delicious and could even sit on the beach and watch the sun dissapear! Beautiful view and nice quiet beach. It is quite out the way of town however. I would go back in a heartbeat. LOVED IT!

Nice hotel, great staff!
We stayed in pingchan for 3 nights and it was great! The hotel is pretty secluded, so suites the most for relaxation, unless u ride a motorbike, in this case u might get to other interesting locations in the area. The staff is VERY nice and helpfull. I'd definitely recommend this resort! Thank you Pingchan!

Comfortable, but doesn't feel like Thailand.
New hotel, and have only been open month. All rooms are bungalow style, so lots of privacy. However, there were I trees on the site, it almost felt like being in an Arizona suburb with no vegetation. Staff is great

Für uns das beste Hotel an diesem Strand. In der dritten Reihe der Bungalow 302 ohne Meerblick war für uns sehr in Ordnung, relativ neu oder gut restauriert von der Größe gut, kurze Wege zum Swimmingpool und zur Frühstücks Terrasse. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung. Der Strand ist sehr angenehm zum Laufen, die Wellen nicht zu hoch und für Kinder geht es flach hinein. Viele gute Restaurants am Strand.

Super fint lille hotel med en fantastisk strand

Die Lage ist sehr schön ruhig, zum abschalten ideal. Direkte Strandlage. Personal war sehr höflich und freundlich. Bungalows bieten viel Platz. Betten waren super bequem. Frühstück hätte etwas abwechslungsreicher sein können, aber es war trotzdem alles sehr frisch und ausreichend.

Sehr schönes kleines Resort 18 Bungalows.Große Zimmer direkt am Strand,sauber.Das Personal sehr nett und freundlich die Besitzerin sehr hilfsbereit hat uns alles organisiert Taxi Boot oder Ausflug.Der Strand ein Traum weißer Puderzuckersand.Am Strand gibt es Restaurants.Auch im kleinen Ort, fußläufig gut zu erreichen gibt es Restaurants und eine kleine Walkingstreet mit leckerem Essen. Supermarkt auch in der Nähe.Wir hatten einen tollen Aufethalt

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr schön direkt am Strand in sehr ruhiger Umgebung. Das Personal ist wirklich sehr nett jederzeit ansprechbar und hilfsbereit. Zimmer und Unterkunft machen einen sauberen Eindruck. Das Mobiliar und die Bungalows wirken jedoch scon abbgewohnt und auch sehr einfach und schlicht, vor allem bri den nicht gersde günstigen Preisen. Auch dss Frühstück könnte bon der Qualität bei diesem Preisniveau etws besser sein. Wir hatten viele Unterkünfte in Thailand, und in vielen Hotels war die Zimmerqualität und dss Frühstück besser. Weil der Service und die Lage sehr gut waren, haben wir uns trotzdem wohlgefühlt, wir finden jedoch, dass das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht so recht passt.

Die Lage ist toll, von dort erreicht man schöne Strände. Das Personal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer ist eher im dunklen Stil mit viel Holz eingerichtet was uns persönlich sehr gefiel. Das Frühstück Konzept ist toll, wir konnten bestellen was auf der Liste war, sodass es kein Foodwaste gibt. Aber das Frühstück fanden wir nichts besonderes.
