Ko Racha Yai Holidays

Stayed for a weekend in June. Had a room with private pool which was excellent. Extremely spacious, well stocked and a great view of the Andaman sea. It wasn't prime season and the resort was very quiet but the service was excellent. Breakfast in the morning on the patio overlooking the infinity pool and the Sea was standout each day and thanks to Ning for connecting with me on day 3. 10-15 USD Grab to Kamala beach - I did walk it once buts it's a hike, and likely not all that safe given some blind corners and quick the ascent coming back from the beach. Would return!

The staff here is helpful and friendly, which was the absolute highlight of the stay. However, the breakfast has very few selections and gets repetitive quickly. Most disruptive of all is a strong, constant buzzing sound from an electric current echoing throughout the entire resort, making it hard to truly relax.

The rooms are spotless and beautifully appointed with everything to make your stay top-rate. The Eastern decor is absolutely stunning and spot on. And the staff were wonderful and so friendly. We rented about 9 rooms for our large family vacation and these swim out rooms were amazing! There is a lovely buffet breakfast with a kind omelet lady who makes you a custom-made omelet. Overall, we would absolutely recommend Sawasdee to couples and families alike !

Lovely resort on semi private island. Very large and spread out so doesn't feel busy. Resort was fairly quiet anyway during our stay so dining areas may get busy with more guests. Several nice pools and poolside villas. Good gym and several activities available but not well advertised : paddle board, kayak, yoga, stretch, boxing. Food options a bit limited and very expensive. All inclusive offered as an option with some bookings. Complimentary speed or long boat offered to mainland.
