Hokuto Hotel Guide. Hotels in Kobuchisawacho, Hokuto, Japan

"The room was spacious, and the breakfast was delicious, though mainly Japanese with just some bread rolls, which may be limiting for those who prefer the Western style breakfast. There were separate onsen areas, one open to public and the other just for the hotel guests. The public bath was open only for limited times, and the amenities were minimal."

"Location of its facility is surrounded by magnificent and beautiful mountains with lots of green, atmosphere is totally different from big city Tokyo. The owner of pension is quite friendly, and capable to treat guest with "omotenashi" from his long experience. "

"We stopped here after 2 days of bike packing and it was a great place to shower sleep and reset. The hot water pressure wasn't great but enough for a hot shower and the WiFi was good. The host was kind and polite and he wished us a safe journey home."

"A beautiful little inn that has two private Sento (baths) and jazz music playing throughout the day. The rooms were clean and quiet. I had a Japanese style room with a futon but Western rooms with beds are also available. Breakfast changed from Western style to Japanese each day; maybe you can request a specific meal type. The Keith Haring museum is just across the street and there were a few onsen and restaurants a short drive away."

"The area, and the Lodge itself, are relaxing in a natural setting. Just like Upstate New York. Hike, ski or read a book on the balcony. "

"A lovely property! The house and rooms are very clean and well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely book this property again should we visit in future."

"This is a great escape from the city and offers many options for enjoying the area or if you have younger children, many play facilities are available. Staff is great as always at any Hoshino facility."

"ドミトリーで予約しましたが客が少なかったこともあって個室にしていただきました。スタッフ(オーナー？)の対応はとても良かったです。宿は周辺にコンビニ等はないのでちょっと不便を感じました。部屋にはTVがなかったのですがフリーWIFIがあったのでネットで見ることができたのは良かった。お風呂は近くの道の駅で利用できます、これがなかなか良かった。食堂は近くにありますが、車があれば(私は自転車でした)少し遠出をしたほうがいいですね。"

"Very nice staff and family friendly amenities!"

"Our stay was wonderful. We felt so welcome. The pension was very clean and comfortable. The owner was fantastic. She made us a wonderful breakfast. We left there knowing we will surely return again!!!"

"Wish had a microwave! "

"Clean room, helpful staff excellent breakfast "

"非常に気きれいで静かなホテルです。コンテナハウスの面白い作りになってますが、 普通のホテルと変わりない部屋ですね。 駐車場も目の前にあり安心です。 ただ周りに歩いて行ける飲食店が少ないです。"

"For what I paid, it was good value. The bathroom was a bit small and hard to bath in if you are used to North American size bathrooms."

"残念"

"Peaceful retreat with access to great natural beauty."

"Great experience! The onsen is good! Bathtoom could be a cleaner. "

"Close to highway and many good restaurants nearby"

"Very friendly and helpful staff. The food was amazing and tranquil, quiet space. I would return."
