Welcome to Patonkila, a stylish and modern log cabin completed in autumn 2025. Located in a peaceful part of Ylläsjärvi, it offers true privacy—no neighbors visible from the windows, no foot traffic past the cabin, and beautiful views of the surrounding pine forest and open wetlands beyond.

This 44 m² holiday home is ideal for 2 guests and features a comfortable bedroom with a 160 cm double bed and a 140 cm sofa bed in the living room. The open-plan layout includes a living area with fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, dining table, OLED TV, and a clean bathroom with shower and toilet.

The wood-burning fireplace creates a cozy atmosphere in the winter, and the Lapland-inspired decor, including a ceiling made from local timber, adds unique charm to the space.

❄️ Activities & Adventures Year-Round

Whether you're visiting in winter or summer, Patonkila is perfectly located for outdoor activities. Cross-country ski tracks and snowmobile trails start just 100 meters from the front door. A pulka (sled) is available for guests, and other winter gear like snowshoes can be rented and delivered.

In the warmer months, enjoy hiking and biking trails right from the cabin. A swimming spot and canoe launch are just 1 km away, next to the local Eelin grocery store.

The Ylläs SkiBus stops 800 meters away, and several restaurants and services are within the same distance. The Loimu Sauna & Spa, just 1 km away, offers excellent sauna experiences, as the cabin itself does not include a sauna.

Patonkila is designed mainly for couples, but families with children are welcome. A travel crib, high chair, and other kids’ gear are available upon request.

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed. Smoking indoors is strictly prohibited, and the fireplace must be used safely according to the instructions provided.
