"What a great hotel! Clean comfortable rooms in a lovely setting, an easy walk to shops and restaurants. We especially appreciated the welcoming, friendly staff who spoke excellent English. The bar was cozy and featured amazing cocktails - the gin & tonic with "forest" syrup was my favorite (so much so that I bought a bottle of the syrup to bring home). Would absolutely recommend this hotel, and hope to visit again someday!"

"Very thoughtful and helpful staff, always offering us heat packs/ umbrella when we leave in the morning. Onsen is small but has both indoor and outdoor areas, good vanity supplies and hair dryer. Location is excellent if you drive and want to be based near the Hoshino resort area. Plenty of things to explore within 20min drive from hotel."
