"We were a bit worried before arriving, due to some very mixed reviews. However, our stay was good. We used the shuttle bus without any problems, there was always space. There is a lot of choice in the breakfast and evening buffets. Our booking through Expedia also allowed access to "the lounge" where you could get drinks and nibbles at set times, late afternoon and evening. The only annoying thing was a booking system for breakfast and dinner. Dinner slots went live at 3pm and breakfast at 9pm...

"Enjoyed our one night stay here. Booked one hour private onsen and thoroughly enjoyed the privacy and waterfall scene. Also did the public onsen and enjoyed it as well. "This hotel is a quick 5 minute walk from Nagano station, and had a room that accommodated 4 people - 2 adults and 2 children. The beds were standard hard for Japan, but the room was a really good size for suitcases. The bathroom was really cramped though - it reminded us of an airplane bathroom! That was the only annoying thing though - everything else was great, for this really reasonably priced hotel. Added bonus -the included buffet breakfast was really good!
