Great location. Right next to the Karuizawa station, outlet and snowfields.
Shuttle scheduled to come every 15-30 minutes to take you around the resort, outlet and other snow fields.
Staying at resort also gives you discounted rates with the ski lifts and gear rental.
Spacious room.
Great for families.
Staff is nice and friendly. The infrastructure for Hot spring is wonderful and clean. The location of the hotel is perfect for shopping at the outlet. It would be better if the staff of the hotel can speak fluent English.
Amazing property!! Our room was so peaceful, very spacious, and very renovated. One of the best hotels in Japan that I have stayed in. Onsen was beautiful! Right next to a great outlet mall! Lots to do around the area. We were able to bus and uber around the property.
I like that they have shuttle bus to and from Shopping Center and Station.
The hot springs is wonderful, although a bit far to walk.
Overall very nice hotel, I will stay here again next time.
KPH Guest Service Center Smile Concierge was a welcome surprise after exiting the Karuizawa Station exit. The persons at the GSCSC were extremely helpful and gave me all sorts of guidance for my stay which proved to be very useful Appreciated the shuttle which runs from KPH GSCSC Karuizawas Station to the Karuizawa Prince Hotel. The hotel was quiet, clean and has a coin laundry which was very convienient.
Room I stayed had beautiful view of ski resort, but it was very quiet, also how they arranged the bathroom and toilet and wash basins was very nice to shared by two persons and with privacy.
Also hotel offered very nice public bath, which I would like to recommand very highly.
However, choice of food could of been wider, but all and all this place was alot better located and offed better food than other hotels I stayed at Karuizawa before.
The hotel is nice . The room size is good. The convenient store has good choice of essential items. Room is less than 1 minute walk to to the ski center . Very convenient for ski in and out. Restaurants in the hotel are ok. The onsen is very nice both indoor and outdoor. The gum is good. Shuttle bus to the JR station and outlet is regular .
Very clean hotel, excellent location just next to shopping outlet mall, you can walk to onzen in covered paths in the hotel building which is very clean and well maintained, also very convenient to go skiing with rental shop just at the hotel area. West Wing premier wing is newly renovated, very nice decor and new, highly recommended
The surrounding area is magnificent and shopping is convenient. Generally the cottage room is quite nice, however, the combine purpose of kitchen and washing basin is not preferable.
It’s the nice hotel near the JR station. The Chinese restaurant we went served excellent dishes.
You can enjoy the hot spring many times a day.
We could see the Mt. Asama from the balcony.
We also enjoyed the beautiful song of birds. Two common kingfishers flew over the garden in front of us.
