Very stellar value for money in a more interesting location (shopping, etc) than the many hotels directly adjacent the train station. My only issue was the thermostat seemed totally unresponsive to me adjusting the temperature downwards which helps to sleep at night. The front desk staff were extremely sweet. I will absolutely stay again!

The JAL hotel is wonderfully located in Nagano city, only a few blocks walk to the train station. A full and large Breakfast is available everyday on the top floor for amazing views of the surrounding mountains. Rooms are quite spacious. There are many restaurants in the nearby area to choose from every night. Nagano is a wonderful city to visit in Japan as it’s much less crowded than places like Tokyo or Osaka. The direct bus to the snow monkeys from the station was a tremendous experience, as you get to see the snow monkeys in their own environment.

Room was very small and the bed was placed at the corner that one side doesn’t have bedside table or any space, it was hard to get out of the bed. The breakfast was great and at the higher floor with a view. Wished it was open for dinner or drinks as well.

There are many restaurants conveniently located nearby. The room is clean and comfortable and the breakfast is outstanding with a wide and impressive selection. The view is absolutely amazing. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Only 5-7mins walk to Nagano St. Many options of dining restaurants around hotel and station. They provided all amenities which we needed very complete, there were (if i m not mistaken) 4 or 5 coins-laundry machine with its dryer near lobby/receiptionist area on the Ground/1st floor. We really had wonderful 4 night-stays here!

Room is clean, we had very peaceful sleep. The breakfast buffet is excellent food and variety. Our check in was very late at 1 am but the front desk gentleman is very helpful, in providing where to park and is welcoming to my daughter and me.
